Feature Requests

Currently if one task was assigned to multiple assignee, this group of assignee will become an "assignee" to show with other single assignee, this is good for tasks, however this is not good to see the task load for each assignee, I would like to have a option to group by only single assignee, even some of the assignee may have the same task.

There is currently no filter feature in Planner. I believe it would be a good idea to include it in the planner as well. We already have it for all views. I want the Planner to ignore a few locations. That was what I needed. It's crowded with all unnecessary tasks.

It is crucial to have these filters included for more specialized list views. Otherwise, some data presented might be inaccurate. :(

I would like to be able to group tasks by start date as well as due date. Thx

It would be amazing if you could add a "TASK NAME" option in FILTERS, like: Filter where [Task name] contains _______ or [Task name] does not contain ________ This way, I can find different tasks based on different task name filters. A real example: Filter where [Task name] contains "heat pump" or [Task name] contains "air conditioning" or [Task name] contains "heating" This way, I can get all tasks that talk about heating, even the task name doesn't include "heating", because heat pumps can produce heating, but if the task name does not include "heating", that task would not appear if I search just for "heating".

I love the "Everything" screen that lets me take a bird's eye view of my assigned tasks in every space. It'd be nice if I could either create a column to display and sort by the space that a task is assigned to, or simply group by space in the Everything view.

Extend the filter functionality to support the option "tasks in personal priority (pp)/lineup". So you could also create a list for your whole workspace, filter all your PP tasks and manage them there.

When we're trying to make views that are specific and useful for a particular group of users (in the example artists) we can't use our project, which is a big template created in chronological order of the tasks that need to be completed to, display subtasks when they are displayed as "expanded". The only way to make them appear is to display subtasks as separate tasks, but that completely breaks our project view and makes it much less interesting for the project manager and the users. In the images below you can see our set up with two of the tasks displaying all of their subtasks in the "expanded" display mode. Then you can see what happens when I apply a filter, they all disappear. In the third image you can see the same view with the Subtasks displayed as separate tasks, but it's less useful as you no longer see the hierarchy of the tasks.
