Feature Requests

I’d like to request the ability to delete multiple attachments at once. Currently, each file has to be removed individually, which can be time-consuming when managing projects with numerous uploads. A bulk-select or multi-delete option would make file management much more efficient, especially for tasks involving frequent revisions or large sets of creative assets.

Allow users to choose which email attachments are added to ClickUp tasks when using the "Attach to a task" function, or add a bulk delete option for attachments within tasks. Currently, unnecessary files (e.g., email signatures or images) are added automatically and must be removed one by one manually, which is time-consuming and inefficient.

Hi! Our team uses “table view” to keep track of ads and organic social media posts in lists. We need a visual overview where captions, hashtags, and image/video (the creative material) are easy to see side by side, so our client doesn’t have to click on anything to approve the ad or post. They are used to seeing spreadsheets, so this is what we are trying to make. So far, we’ve solved this by creating an attachment custom field for the creative material, as attachments cant have their own column in the table view. From the custom field I have created, the material is uploaded to the task attachments. But we’re now working on automating this process and have run into an issue. If we use AI to upload the content for me into a task, the files are added to the task attachments, but it’s not possible to display them visually in the table. For my client to be able to see it, it needs to be uploaded to the custom field I have created, but this is not possible for some reason. Is there any way to have the default task attachments appear as a column with visuals in table view? I’ve attached an image of what our overview looks like today. As refugees from Basecamp 2, one feature that I've not seen in action in ClickUp that we'll miss is the ability to see all files for a given project in one place—and, indeed, all files across all projects https://2.basecamp-help.com/article/208-files I believe a good place to initiate this view would be would be a 4th view button to the right of BOARD. (Please excuse the crudity of this model.) Files for a given list, space, team would be viewable depending on what level a user is situated. Being able to click on these files and go to the discussion(s) in which they're attached would also be fantastic. Indeed, using search or looking for the attachment icon on tasks is simple enough, but viewing all the "things" and starting there is a really powerful way to get users to get their bearings, especially if you're coming into a project that's been going on for awhile. Hopefully, this isn't a duplicate request. I'll take my answer off the air.

It would be super useful to be able to add tags to attachments, and to be able to view attachments independently of the tasks to which they are attached (making file/document management easier). Our use case is when spaces are for an instance of a project or event that is repeatable (e.g. annual conference). Managing attachments by task means they disappear from easy view as tasks are completed. If we can see them all in one place with tags, it's easier to find key documents from year to year (or even within a year for that matter).

There should be a feature that rotate an image preview because images taken from a phone display horizontally on the computer app.

I cannot transform any of my boards into pdf anymore. I don't know why it stopped working and there's nowhere to fix it. Very frustrating

We are not utilizing the file attachment as much as possible because of the effort to download individual files. Prior to archiving we want to save certain files in a common document repository. A bulk/mass download from a folder or list would help.

We treat individual tasks as projects. It would be really nice, in the attachment section, to have the option for folders. Right now, all of the attachments are just dumped in the bottom of the task with no ability to organize them.
