I've been using the recently launched (June 2025) Duration field to automatically calculate start/due dates based on duration. I've noticed that durations set in this field don't match when you switch between List/Gantt View. If you adjust the duration in either view, the other is not updated. For example, if I set a task duration at 5 days in List view and switch to Gantt view, it might show as 3 days or some other arbitrary number. The two durations can get out of sync if you update one without updating the other. You have to to manually update both the Duration field and the task’s start/due dates in Gantt view to keep them in sync. This is not ideal for maintaining a project. The duration should be held between all views.

When editing an entry from a list, tags for a custom field are displayed with e.g. +3. However, there is plenty of space available to display additional tags directly. This would be significantly more user-friendly. In the list view, however, all tags are displayed.

I tried the If Statement that when the specific custom field content is "e. g. FDG with contrast"(Alpha) the result will be the Amount (numeric), it is not working because i saw that this is not supported in clickup. I thought that most of the features is already there in the clickup than our old app we used.

We want to be able to sort the custom fields pr location, so that it follows the list view sorting. The attached images show how the order of custom fields varies from the list view to the task view.

Currently, if a user has AI Fields and unknowingly has the AI ClickApp disabled, they won't be able to edit any of the Custom Field values. The field is disabled, but no indication as to why the field is disabled is shown. A simple tooltip to prompt them to turn on the AI ClickApp would be helpful.

It would be essencial to automate a business process setting which fields need to be filled and viewed on each status guiding users on the process. Because on some processes user needs to guess which fields needs to be filled to change to another status. As workaround, nowadays we need to create a automation to create a new comment saying to user which fields need to filled, but is not productive as we can have a lot of fields available. EG. you have a Main Task (Epic) with 4 sub tasks. If the main task is in backlog but a subtask moves to in progress - the main task should automatically be moved to in progress status also.

I'm not keen on the placement of custom fields at the bottom of tasks. For me, some of these fields are really important, and I'd prefer them to occupy the same space as the basic task information and properties. Currently, there's no way to sort and arrange these custom fields. Sorting is important because it allows me to categorise and group them according to different purposes and use cases. For example, some fields capture requested input, while others capture assignee input. The inability to sort or arrange these custom fields makes the section look cluttered and confusing.

Previously, we could set transparent dropdowns with a white outline (or black, depending on the background color). Currently, if you try to remove color, it sets the white color which makes it unpleasing to look at. Getting back the option to set transparent dropdowns would be ideal

Depending on the option you are attempting to select, it can be blocked by the notification toast UI element. It is extremely irritating to have to wait every single time for the toast to disappear. There should be a way to close the notification toasts instead of being forced to wait for them to timeout.
