When using search, there are options to filter based on what we want to search - eg Tasks, Docs, Comments, Messages, People Etc etc. That's great. But the problem is, on Desktop, we see both Messages (ie Clickup Chat) and Comments (ie Task Activity section Comments). On mobile, the option is not there to search Comments. We only see Messages. That severely limits ability to search on mobile. Seems it should be allowed - if everything else is the same between the Desktop and Mobile search, why only Comments filter is not available?

I think the connected search for outlook is very needed, this would be very useful!

We should be able to integrate these into connected search. Be nice if I could search a contact click on it and it opens up that app or site.

When searching a list view, there is not functionality to search sub tasks. The current search only searches toplevel tasks.

When using the search bar inside a list, ClickUp returns results for parent tasks but does not return any matching subtasks. This makes it difficult to quickly locate subtasks within large lists and affects day-to-day navigation and workflow efficiency. Please consider fixing this so subtasks are included in list-level search results, or provide a setting to enable this behavior.

Currently, all tasks appear in the search results, even tasks with a closed status. It is necessary to configure the filters each time because it is impossible to save them. It would be really useful in terms of saving time and productivity to be able to save global search filters.

The search bar in 4.0 collapses automatically with the new release requiring user to click the magnifying glass before being able to search for a task. As this is the most used feature in that toolbar, please either leave expanded or give option for users to have it expanded as a view setting.

Would be helpful to search subtasks from the view panel instead of global search.

The search function is most of the time unusable, doesn't even return any results before I give up and use a different method to find what I'm looking for. Very disappointing!
