Feature Requests

I could like it if I can use it on my mobile phone. Now I use Google Keep but whiteboards could add some value.

It would be great to be able to create a table in the whiteboards :)

I love to use Docs, but mostly as Task attachments. It would be great to have this option for the whiteboards, not only as a view but as an attachment.

It would be great to get some sort of history or snapshot feature for Whiteboards. It can be easy to accidentally delete parts of Whiteboards, or to want to remember how it looked at a certain point, so being able to go back through history would be useful. This could be quite intensive on the server side, of course, so maybe a snapshot feature would be better. Somewhere were you can save how the Whiteboard looked at certain points. Currently I do this by creating Whiteboard duplicates, but this can become somewhat unmanageable as ClickUp doesn't have folders for views, so you end up with a lot of view tabs for different versions of the same Whiteboard.

The ability to add dashboard widgets/cards directly on whiteboards would be a valuable feature to enhance collaboration and visual organization in ClickUp. Whiteboards are excellent tools for brainstorming, planning, and high-level strategizing, but currently, users must navigate away from the whiteboard to review dashboard data. Integrating dashboard cards into whiteboards would bridge the gap between ideation and data-driven insights, allowing teams to stay aligned and informed without interrupting their creative flow. Users should be able to resize and reposition dashboard cards on the whiteboard, ensuring flexibility in how they organize their information and making it easier to create visually appealing layouts. Enable users to pull in cards from multiple data sources, such as different lists. This would help create comprehensive visual snapshots that facilitate quick decision-making during meetings and brainstorming sessions. For cybersecurity initiatives, this would allow users to track metrics like compliance with standards (e.g., ISO 27001), incident response times, or vulnerability remediation efforts without leaving the whiteboard space. By enabling the addition of dashboard cards on whiteboards, ClickUp would offer a more seamless way for teams to integrate strategic planning with real-time data analysis, improving productivity and decision-making in projects like cybersecurity initiatives.

Let users select any color they want.

It would be great to see the task relationships with automatically created connectors in the whiteboards. The option to toggle this visibility might also be valuable.

The ability to link another whiteboard to a specific whiteboard object ( shape, note, task, etc ). Make sure there is a parent link on child whiteboards as well. This will allow the ability to have a high level of abstraction in a diagram and then easily drill down into more detailed diagrams for specific objects in your diagram.

Have the option to embed whiteboards in docs
