I would like to recommend adding a feature in ClickUp that allows users to search exclusively by task name (title), both in the global search bar and within lists or boards. Currently, searches return results from task names, descriptions, comments, and other fields, which can make it difficult to quickly find tasks based solely on their titles. Suggested Improvements: Add an option or filter in the global search to restrict results to task names only. Allow users to use a special search operator (e.g., name: or title:) to specify that the search should only match task names. Enable this filter in both the global search and within list/board views for consistency. Benefits: Faster, more accurate task discovery when users know the title or part of the title. Reduces noise from unrelated matches in descriptions or comments. Improves productivity for users managing large numbers of tasks. Thank you for considering this enhancement!

A convenience for users is finding files and chats efficiently without having to scroll through old chats to find matching files, both new and old. The use of AI is also less useful; it's not a particularly urgent solution, and its use isn't significant enough. AI would make it easier to filter the composition of work. Tabs for each channel could be added, such as channel - post - media, for easier filtering in the future.

It is uncomfortable that the search results in one list are shown to all users in this list. When several people want to search, they cannot, since the search results of another person is shown

I have had numerous occasions when I have to give the results of a search to another coworker but I haven't been able to put that info in a doc or excel. The workaround that I have been using is to copy the link and then put it into Teams so that they have access to the list of links and can just click on them without having to copy and paste that info into ClickUp.

I think the connected search for outlook is very needed, this would be very useful!

One of the biggest shortcomings in the mobile app is that if searching for a keyword, the results are only threads.. This means I have to go trhough the whole thread to find the subject.. Please make a search option within the thread itself.. Currently search is kind of useless. Thank you

We have multiple lists with the same name under different folders and spaces. It would help a lot if you could show the path in full when listing the search results.

Currently it looks like search supports only OR and searches for any part of the query which is frustrating. I would like to be able to search for the whole query and exclude certain keywords or fields - like in Jira.

create an attachment with text as content, so that I can search for that text in when using the global search function? Here it could be either a clickup doc or a a word document attached or whatever, but critical for me is that if I go to the global search in clickup I can search for the text inside this document.

I would like to bring to your attention a limitation in the search feature. Searches for partial words, such as 'test,' do not yield results for documents containing a single, continuous word like 'testdoc.' The system correctly identifies 'test doc' but not the un-spaced version. Addressing this issue would greatly enhance the system's overall usability.
