ClickUp currently allows users to send emails to tasks via the “Send Email to Task” feature, but this requires copying a unique email address per task — which is inefficient and error-prone, especially for fast-paced teams like presales, customer success, or support. We’re already seeing a smoother experience in MS Teams, where users can add comments to ClickUp tasks directly from a chat — and it would be incredibly helpful to have the same flow from the Outlook Add-In. 🧠 Use Case: Consulting teams often get critical updates, clarifications, and feedback from clients via email. Instead of jumping to ClickUp, copying task IDs, and pasting email content, users should be able to: Open the Outlook ClickUp Add-In. Search and select a task. Post the selected email content as a comment on that task — optionally with attachments. This would significantly improve adoption of the Outlook Add-In, reduce copy-paste fatigue, and help preserve critical client context in ClickUp itself.
