Mirrored Lists Across Multiple Folders and Spaces
In our large department, we have created a separate Folder for each team, where projects and tasks are organized into different Lists. This year, we are facing a new challenge: we have a set of projects that are shared across multiple teams, and we need all teams to collaborate on a single List while that List remains accessible within each team's own Folder. Currently, there is no native solution in ClickUp for this scenario. Teams are forced to rely on workarounds such as duplicating Lists (which are not synced) or using filters and dashboards (which do not provide a satisfactory user experience). When looking for a solution, we realized that ClickUp already provides this capability at the Task level — a Task can be added to multiple Lists using the "Add to Another List" option, and all instances remain fully synced. This is exactly the same logic we need for Lists. If this capability exists for Tasks, why shouldn't we be able to do the same for a List across multiple Folders or even Spaces? Our proposal is to add "Add to Another Folder" and "Add to Another Space" options to the right-click menu of every List, so that a single List can exist simultaneously as a Mirror in multiple Folders or Spaces, with all changes, tasks, comments, and updates fully synced across every instance in real time. This feature would be a game-changer for project managers handling cross-team projects, giving them the flexibility to define shared Lists across different Folders and Spaces without losing the context of each team's own workspace. It would eliminate redundancy, prevent miscommunication, and enable true cross-team collaboration — all within the same unified platform that ClickUp promises to be.

Make List-View More Powerful
With a few minor changes, it's possible to make List View much more powerful, and manage most your task activities right from within List View, without having to open the individual task popup. -Allow text formatting inside task/subtask titles, at the very least bold. (this is really the most critical missing feature for us) -Allow line-return inside task/subtask titles (this is critical as well. if a 2-3 line title is sufficient to show all details needed for a subtask, having to add a description doesn't make sense) -In List VIew, Tasks/Subtasks are missing comment icon/count. Can't tell which tasks/subtasks have comments from within List view. So if working primarily from list view -Add a "Comments" column, which shows comment count. -When hovering over task/subtask name, show more options such as adding comments or attachments right from List view. http://prntscr.com/ps1bfk -Allow showing comments inline, just like subtasks. http://prntscr.com/ps180k -Allow showing attachments inline, just like subtasks. -Allow expanding/collapsing task description right within list view, so there's no need to open task popup. (only shows up for tasks that have description text) -In Lists, on left side of task, allow showing the status checkbox always expanded for all tasks. It's hard to tell task status visually with a thin line, and also tricky to move mouse into proper place to expand it http://prntscr.com/ps198t -Allow emoji icons inside Status names. Or assign an icon to a status.

Sort and Order Tasks in Board View
Unless I'm mistaken, ClickUp’s Board view currently only allows tasks to be ordered manually within columns or by a limited set of sorting options. There appears to be no way to automatically order tasks based on important workflow events such as Date Closed, Date Status Updated, or other system/custom fields. This creates problems for workflows where the sequence of completed or recently updated tasks matters, particularly when reviewing work that has moved into a “Done” or “Completed” status. At the moment, tasks appear in an arbitrary order, which makes it difficult to quickly understand what was completed most recently. *** Requested functionality Allow Board view columns to be sorted automatically by: Date Closed Date Status Updated / Status Changed Date Created Date Updated Custom fields (including date fields) This sorting should work within each column, similar to how List view allows sorting by multiple criteria. *** Why this matters Many teams use Board view to track workflow stages. When tasks reach a “Done” column, users often want to see: The most recently completed tasks first Tasks ordered by completion date Tasks ordered by a custom workflow field Without this capability, Board view becomes far less useful for reviewing completed work or understanding recent activity. *** Example use case A team moves tasks through a workflow until they reach Done. They want the Done column to automatically show tasks ordered by Date Closed (newest first) so they can immediately see the latest completed work without manually searching or switching to another view. *** Summary Add the ability to sort tasks within Board view columns by system fields and custom fields, including Date Closed and Date Status Updated. This would make Board view far more useful for reviewing progress, activity, and recently completed tasks.
