Feature Requests

It looks like tables in docs have been slightly improved - https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/improve-tables-in-docs-big-time . However, still big improvements are needed: * Background color * Header formatting * More column width control * Cell merging * Center align tables * They still look ugly * ... I could go on and on At the very least implement something like Typora has - more control, more formatting options and rendering is quite good for markdown tables.

We should have the ability to export all docs on a space / folder / list / basis in bulk instead of having to do them all individually.

Currently, when a parent comment in Docs is marked as complete, all associated child comments are also closed. This behavior causes the child comments to disappear from the "Assigned Comments" widget on the Home page, making it extremely difficult to track pending tasks or discussions related to those comments. This is inconsistent with the behavior in tasks, where closing a parent comment does not affect the visibility or status of child comments. The issue severely disrupts workflows because: Child comments are prematurely closed and effectively "lost" from visibility. ClickUp suggested a workaround using the "Activity" view, but it is not practical as it does not integrate updates from Docs and requires users to manually sift through irrelevant activities. We urgently request that this issue be addressed to align comment behavior in Docs with tasks and ensure a seamless tracking experience across the platform.

If I have set a custom icon on a document, when I create a sub-document, the icon from the parent should be automatically applied to the sub-document.

I see that there is only toggle list available. but when I tried to make it's font more larger and more bolder. it doesn't work. that would be great if we can make toggle + heading. or you can add option toggle list toggle heading 1 toggle heading 2 toggle heading 3 toggle heading 4 because some times we need that.. and its really helpful in notion. please add this feature.

Synced blocks enclose any section of text/images/etc. that can then be copied elsewhere and can be edited in multiple locations and it updates everywhere. For example, if I write out a goal that I want to keep in front of me, I can add it to all relevant docs and task descriptions and if I make changes to it, it'll update everywhere else as well.

It would be an absolute dream to have ClickUp auto fill a premade PDF Template.

Currently, it's not possible to add rows or columns to the middle or top of the table. The only options available are adding rows at the bottom or columns at the end of the table. It would be incredibly helpful to have a feature similar to Excel, where we can insert rows or columns anywhere within the table.

Markdown is not sugar over a mystery backend format. All text needs to be all genuinely markdown all the way. If I paste markdown from Github or wherever it should work (to the extent the markdown flavor matches). If I select text in ClickUp and paste in Github or Slack it should show up as markdown, not flat text with formatting stripped.
