Hi ClickUp team, I'd like to request a native Share Extension for macOS (and ideally iOS as well). Currently, it's not possible to share content — such as audio files or text messages from WhatsApp — directly to a ClickUp Chat or task using the native macOS share sheet. Since the ClickUp desktop app is Electron-based, it doesn't appear as a share target in the system's Share menu. This would be extremely useful for teams that receive important information via messaging apps (WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.) and need to quickly forward it to a ClickUp Chat or attach it to a task — without breaking the workflow with manual copy-paste steps. Requested functionality: • ClickUp appears in the macOS Share Sheet • Ability to select a destination (Chat, Task, or Space) • Support for text, links, images, and audio files This would significantly improve daily productivity for users who work across multiple communication platforms. It seems to take on a lot of memory on Windows desktop.

ClickUp is one of the most memory-consuming apps I'm running. Can this be optimized?

Copy link in the desktop app should use the same URL structure as the hosted app when the user is logged in with SSO. Links copied from the desktop app are unusable by browser users with hosted accounts according to support. To quote: After looking into this, I want to clarify that this is actually intended behavior. The ClickUp desktop app is designed to always generate links using app.clickup.com rather than your workspace's custom white label URL, and this applies regardless of how you are logged in, including via SSO. As a workaround, links copied directly from the web app will use your custom URL ( mycompany.clickup.com ), so copying and sharing links from the browser is the best path forward for your team at this time.

Please add an option to remove clickup from the menu bar - I like keeping clickup running all day, so I get notifications and can quickly tap my shortcuts to create a task etc, but having clickup in my menubar is taking away valuable real estate from other apps that I do want up there. There's not any other apps that I have installed, that force you to have their icon up in the menu bar - and I haven't ever clicked on it to use any of the features clickup puts up there. Please make it optional, as it's currently providing no utility to me and is only causing frustration. Thank you!

Instead of having pages for each, offer a way to scroll through one page with all of these.

Dear ClickUp Team, I hope this message finds you well. I would like to suggest a potential enhancement for the ClickUp Desktop App on Windows. Currently, upon launching the desktop application, it does not allow users to set Home as the default landing page. Each time the app opens, it requires manual navigation to the Home section. Having an option in the settings to configure the default startup view — particularly to set Home as the default — would greatly improve user experience, efficiency, and daily workflow, especially for users who rely heavily on the Home dashboard to manage tasks, notifications, and priorities. For my use case, I want the ClickUp desktop app to open on the chat page. I'm sure others have a different preference - Space; Home; Doc; Inbox etc. It would be a very helpful option.

I'd like the option to have "Tabs" in my app just like I would in a browser. I might want to compare and contrast projects or keep omy personal view open while viewing a team project. (But I don't necessary want to save it as a favorite for just a quick review)
