Feature Requests

It'd be great to have a read receipt or icon to let users know when a chat message has been read.

As it currently stands, the Chats only support replying in Threads or simply typing a response. This can get clunky. I'd prefer to be able to reply to a message in the same chat as you do in Google Chats or Discord, etc. :)

At the moment when you start a SyncUp, you manually have to hit the record button and then when the recording finishes, you have to copy and paste the link. It would be great to have the option to automatically record the call, and then to have it automatically paste the share link into the Chat where the SyncUp started OR have it add the Clip to all attendees Clips library.

I'd love to hide my unfinished basement walls, coworkers walking around in the background, or just the ugly cabinets - anything I don't want people to see while I'm on a SyncUp. (could we rename SyncUp to SUp too haha)

When opening a thread in chat, it would be lovely to scroll to the bottom of your read messages. I'm currently navigating a fix at work with a 200+ reply thread and every time I open, I have to scroll down. This is fine for smaller threads but becoming unweildy for this larger side conversation.

this is very surprising, Everyone can delete the message at any time, after month ago, this is very unprofessional and give leverage to people to mislead the team. please give this access to admins only and deleted message is showing one item deleted.

Disabling or removing a chat from a space or list is impossible. What if I don't want to have a global chat for a space but only for a specific list in the space? Force to have chats for everything creates an unorganized experience.

It would be great to have a feature, especially for chats where you can record a video of you talking for announcements, etc. Not just the screen recording. This is a feature we use in Slack that we are really going to miss when moving over to Chat.

In both Chat and Comments, replying from a notification creates a new thread. This should not be the default behavior. This nesting hides information behind small UI elements and extra clicks. On many occasions, I have pestered someone for a response that was already given in a hidden thread. I had the Threaded Comments ClickApp turned off previously because it was causing more headaches finding information and following disjointed conversations across threads than its supposed organizational benefit. However, I want to be able to use the Chat ClickApp which requires the Threaded Comments ClickApp for some reason. (Our team is small, and we don't have that many messages on a given task/chat to warrant threading.) I'd prefer an option to turn threading off entirely, but at least stop making it the default behavior when addressing notifications.
