List Dropdowns in 3.0

In 2.0 when I made multiple list views inside a main list, the list views would appear in dropdowns so that my top row was not cluttered. Now in 3.0 the dropdowns for views are gone and I have a cluttered top row.
Add option to create view dropdowns.

We're thrilled to announce that grouping views by type has made its grand return to 3.0!
To group your views, simply select the "Group view by type" toggle in your location settings. Alternatively, you can find the "group by type" option in the more menu display in your Views header.
Enabling this toggle will save the change for this location. Any other users viewing this location will then see views grouped accordingly.
There's more! If a grouping has more than 5 views, you'll now be able to search within this type.

Michael Van Doorn: I'm happpy it is back, I thought I shared my ideas for an even better approach and that would have been that you can drag and drop views on top of each other to create groups manually. I have e.g. IT list and board view and finance list and board view and manually grouping them would allow me to group by theme instead of type. Maybe something to consider for next iteration.

Michael Van Doorn: Will we be able to group views freely regardless of type? I have many teams working on projects in the same space and each team needs their own views. Grouping lists, boards, calendars, etc by Team would be much more convenient than by type alone.
We are also limited to either a fully public view or a private view for individuals. When will we be able to have private views that can be for teams of people instead of just individuals?

With the upcoming updates to view grouping, we will not be adding the ability to group views outside of type. That said, this is a great idea and something we are tracking! I see you are a voter of the canny thread for this request already!
In regards to shareable private views, this is also something we would love to add in the future. Please provide any feedback on what functionality you would like to see in the related thread: https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/shareable-private-views

Michael Van Doorn: Yes please!!! This was a gtreat way to handle that in 2.0 and one of the features people always liked on onboarding. It's so usufull having the same view, just with different filters sitting in a stack. Now we have 30 views on one line, meaning we have to go to that +XY Views Tab and search for the stuff. Why would you guys even change that? Appreciate an asap release. Thx.
