Add Subtasks to Multiple Parent Tasks At Once

Has this feature been solved? [Add sub-tasks to multiple parent tasks at once] - [Template Sub-task Groups]. * I have the same set of sub-tasks (e.g. 6 subtasks are: draft, record, edit, review, schedule, publish) for different Parent Tasks. Instead of manually creating and adding those same 6 sub-tasks every time I create a new Parent Task (right now I have 30 Parent Tasks) ... I would like the ability to just create the Parent Task and add a template-tized group of sub-tasks. As I believe Clickup is setup, I have to manually type the same 6 sub-tasks for each of my 30 Parent Tasks?

I am in need of this as well! We are creating an issue list as we go through the project the subtasks to resolve the issue relate back to our project plan and we want those subtasks to show up as subtasks under the relevant project task area so that we can see the full scope of work in one hierarchical view. Just sharing the tasks or subtasks to the list is not helpful as it does not show the hierarchy structure under the project plan

Yes, that's what I am exactly looking for! It's tiring to add a subtask to parent tasks one at a time. I did 20-30 times..! This feature is definitely needed!

Yes, it would be very useful if a Subtask could be a subtask of multiple Parent Tasks.

Giving this a bump. I am running into situations where I need to add the same subtask to a task family (30+). Currently, the only way to accomplish this that I see is to manually add to each task. It would be great if you could add a subtask to a group of tasks that share a tag, or some other relationship.

I think it might be better just to add a new category of 'subtask'. eg like a linked task. This way the task could be linked to multiple 'parents' and also retain its own permissions and custom fields etc. We've been waiting for sub-task permissions forever Permissions - Allow subtasks to have different permissions than their parent task This could kill two birds with one stone..

Subtasks with Multiple Parent Tasks

I love ClickUp's flexibility to show my data and projects in whichever way I want. Moreover how every person can see what they want, how they want.
But right now I am facing a issue in running Sprints with multiple tasks from different lists. Clickup allows tasks and subtasks in multiple lists but the problem is that it supports nesting the task in only one list, thus in all other locations cannot be nested. This removes the order I can get from having an hierarchy.
I tried using custom fields but they cannot replace the benefit I get from hierarchical orders. For the same benefit, I'll have to spam quite a few fields to define context etc and this will clutter the task view with unnecessary stuff.
Nesting helped me with easy categorization and flexibility of breaking down stuff into smaller subcomponents, or batching together similar stuff to be done together.

Multi-Home Subtasks to different Parents, or Expanded Relations between tasks?

Hi, I've been able to benefit from a feature in a few other apps that lets you Multi-home Subtasks to different Parents. I think this could be useful in ClickUp, too, however perhaps a better solution would be to simply use Expanded Relations (that are coming down the pike on the Roadmap) to provide a similar functionality. In the apps that have the "Subtasks can be in multiple Parents" those tools have very weak relationships between tasks.
Good Examples might be 1) CRM, 2) Candidate Tracking.
Let me explain how this could work in Candidate Tracking:
- one task is the Candidate. So "John Candidate" and you could tag it "Candidate:
- it would be great to track work around that Candidate - Recruiting, Onboarding, etc. Right now this might be in the form of Subtasks you create.
- however, that work around Recruiting and Onboarding could likely be in a Project your team is running for other Candidates at the same time. So you'd want those tasks in these Projects right now, too.
Ideally, it would be great to have the Candidate's Task related to this work, as well as in the Project. I don't think the work around the Candidate should be characterized as "subtasks" of the Candidate, but right now, that's the only way to set this up. With Relations, if you could see a "related tasks" area and all the detail, it would provide full visibility into what is being done around the Candidate, but have a more natural setup.
This would also help with this popular request for Subtasks to have different workflow than Tasks
I hope that makes sense and that you guys think this is useful functionality!

I'd really love to be able to add a templated task to multiple parent tasks at once.
As it is, I have to go wash-rinse-repeat approximately 57 times. Glad my firm is small!

I think this should be the evolution of Subtasks in Multiple Lists clickapp as currently it in no way justify being placed in the Business Plus plan
