ClickUp MCP - High Token Usage

Firts of all love the official Clickup MCP server. Our SDLC workflow has been trasnformed with it. One issue we seeing is it uses 34K tokens and that's roughly 17% of claude's 200K context window. Any optimisation that can be done ? Screenshot is from Claude code's "/context" command.

We're actively working on a new generation of tools that are significantly more token-efficient. Stay tuned for improvements here soon.

Hi Arkady Sokolov,
I highly appreciate this.
I have a request: please make sure that the MCP tools become more powerful than they currently are.
Currently codex tells that it cannot do many operations because no tools are exposed and this hurts our workflows and we have to manually do them. But I have observed that Brain is able to do many of that work but it does not have raw intelligence and our local workspace context

Bumping it up. I thought adding clickup mcp would be a great idea but this is kinda eating away most of our context

Thanks for the screenshot! This is one we are aware of and will be a fun one to solve, mainly because there are 2 requests we are seeing from the community: more capabilities but burn less context, so efficiency is the name of the game. :)
To solve this, we’ll likely need to partner closy with the deiffrent teams to see how we can optimize their APIs. Current implementation can be a bit heavy for what we need, especially if we want to keep context low, but we're working through it. 🫡
