The latest iOS version looks great already, however the horizontal scroll on the iPhone is really useless because of the size of the screen. Different screen sizes require a different layout.

Wilrik: Not sure if you have noticed but the notifications has been added back to the home screen. Did that help?
With Search. I really think this is a great idea. When you search, what are you usually searching for?

Other suggestion would be to have always a home button visible!
