User status change (away, vacation, sick, etc)
Kham Inthirath
Teamwork and Monday.com and Slack etc have User status changes so all the team members and/or who are in your space know you are in a meeting, vacation, sick, out of work, etc. Having a communication setting like this would be critical for transparency.

Totally agree!! For example a "out of office" - "in lunch break" - etc. status!

Agree!!! It would be great if there is a feature to change my online status to I´m having lunch right now and will be back in 30 min or smth like that. In general, something to let them know my online status. (For example a pizza slice instead of the green dot and when you hover with your mouse over it, you can see the info that iI will be back in an hour)

This should absolutely be an option. For many, many reasons, users should be able to control their visibility online. Most apps that show online status have a way to for users to control their status. There is no reason not to provided this feature. Please elevate the priority for adding this. I notice this has been a feature request since at least October 2019 -- it's now June 2023. Is this actively in development?

As someone who uses clickup for both personal and professional reasons it's imperative I'm not seen as online for my professional workspace. Having this feature would be immensely useful!

This is a must! I have my personal brand in ClickUp as well as being a member of multiple client workspaces. At the weekend/on vacation/long weekends, I'm in ClickUp (working in my workspace) and showing up online, everywhere inside ClickUp. This gives the impression that I'm around/available/working, and I'm not!

Yes, this would be really helpful, especially for vacations and days off so that we aren't assigning work to people who are out.

I too would love the ability to be able to change user status. Not in terms of blocking time on a calendar, but in saying "Away from the desk"; "In a meeting", etc. The program will often show people active at all times of the day or night, that are not at their computers. Working remotely, it is critical to know who is actually working versus who logged in and walked away from their desk.

Yes, this is essential. We work with contract workers, part-time and full-time employees. Knowing when people are OOO is essential to ensuring things keep moving along.

Employees being able to add from their end sick days, holiday days etc. maybe like a calendar view in dashboards.
