We’re currently working through
workspace-level
and user-level
work schedules. Both types of schedules allow you to define the following per schedule:- Workweeks: e.g., M-F, 9-5
- Exceptions: Additional days off like holidays
The key difference between them
- Workspace Schedule: Default for all users in the workspace.
- User Schedule: Can be assigned to individual users or potentially teams in bulk.

Yes they should apply, the option to disable is something I don't really see much value in as long as there's a way to override for specific users.
I'm not sure if it's already taken into account but being able to specify an amount of hours they're off as opposed to a full day would be useful for instances where someone is only in work for a half-day... this would help for planning via Workload. Not a deal breaker but that's the only gap I can foresee.
