It would be very convenient to have the ability to have subfolders. I use folders for classifying projects. For example, Projects would be a Folder name. 2019 Projects would be a Subfolder name.

The possibility of creating folders within folders should really be added! It would greatly simplify storage when you want to have a kind of “parent” folder without necessarily having to recreate a space

Hi Caroline Ginty ! I have submitted the subfolder beta access request. I am using ClickUp for the first time and subfolder seems to be very helpful in organizing multilevel tasks, wish to use it. Please consider the request in the upcoming batch.

Caroline Ginty I am loving the new subfolders - but I have one request: Please allow the Subfolder to move below any lists that aren't in a subfolder. Right now it is pinning the Subfolders to the top which separates the Parent Folder's Lists and they are dangling below other subfolders - breaks up the connection.
If I try to drag a subfolder "below" the Parent folder, it moves the subfolder out of the Parent folder.

Caroline Ginty I'm testing subfolders and would like to ask for a feature. It would be great to have a possibility to show the parent list name on the calendar view. I'm building a Production HUB, where folder is for All ongoing productions while subfolders are for each production. I would like to have a possibility to view in calendar view all ongoing productions time frames, now they all mix as only task names are visible and each of them is exactly the same: load-in, setup, show etc.

Another thing, this time a very small one. While moving the subfolder from one place to another using (…) and Move task > it is impossible to pick another subtask as a final location, you can only choose the main folder.

Michał Mrzygłocki: Thanks for this! This is because Subfolders are currently limited to one layer deep; in the future we will support multiple layers of nesting.
