Would like to send Email Updates to clients straight from ClickUp or with an integration. As each email sent task check-off.
This would make me jump for joy for this feature to be added
Tip on when this is coming --- pretty please with sugar on top :) @Zeb or @Wes Brummette
I'm dying... each week I anxiously await the Friday release. I have excitement with the new stuff but also disappointment of no email each week. Can't wait for email.
P. S. I hope this is incoming and outgoing email abilities :)
@Samantha Fowler: Soon, we are just waiting on approval from Google!
@Nick: Hey Nick. Are we good on MS Office365 side?
@Önder Bağcı: We are planning on supporting Outlook emails too!
This would be an amazing feature. Please! :)
Please, replace HubSpot in every way possible. We need ClickUp to do everything that could be done at HubSpot.
@Mubdu Alali: Makes no sense. Hubspot is a marketing / automation tool. Clickup is a task management tool. You're mixing what each one does.
@Robert: Can make sense to some degree, i.e. build in some marketing/automation features into a CRM like experience. Even CliuckUp has created videos on using it as a CRM. CRM's that are getting better and more advanced are building in more marketing/automation features so you can prospect, track, and communicate with future, current, and past clients. I'd like to see more of this in ClickUp.
@Darren Litchfield: I understand. I wasn't trying to be crass. I just was being realistic that Hubspot is a goliath and with so many moving parts I doubt the majority of the features they have would fit into a software like this. I could see the deal tracking and things you mentioned being somewhat useful but then again you're talking about a CRM versus a project management software.
@Robert: Definitely understand and I think you are 1,000% (if it were possible) right. Will never replace full on CRM like HubSpot. I just see ClickUp adding in and promoting that they can be used as a CRM. Which is interesting since they use HubSpot internally from what I understand. But I love that they are doing this because it can meet certain people's needs all in one tool with Project Management.
All this to say, the more features the better, but I agree it should never be expected to replace a fully functional CRM in every way.
I know you guys are waiting for Google tickoff for this, but you could fast track this by integrating Sendgrid as Airtable has done, which given your automations now could make this even more powerful given what is possible with their API.
Pipefy (never used it) seems to have a good way of making emails based on task status, tag, etc -> https://www.pipefy.com/features/email-templates/
Maybe you could implement something similar, it could pull in fields, and trigger based on tag/status change
I think it's possible with Integromat integration.
That would be amazing for us as well.
