Same Task in Two Spaces

It would be nice if you could have 1 task live in multiple spaces/Lists. Right now my team logs Inventory for a specific projects under their Field Services space, then when inventory becomes low on an item, our Purchasing dept has to create a separate task to fulfill the order. It would be nice if you could assign that one task between two spaces to avoid having to open up multiple tasks.

The idea of using dependencies and auto creation&assignment of a task under one department from a task being completed in another area comes to mind. Or perhaps triggered from when the inventory of an item in a task or a spreadsheet falls below a certain number.

Would be a great feature to have one task exist in other boards! Kills duplication and manual entry = more productive days :)

I agree. I have my own space so I can track tasks that people ask me to do but aren't necessarily part of a space or list yet, right now I'm linking to the task once it is created in the space, but it would be great for that to be the same task in two spaces, especially if I'm tracking time to it in my space vs. the project space.
