Password protected public view (List, task, form)
Sebastien Jonathan AMOUSSOU (ROBOTIST)
Hi team,
The release of public view sharing for different entities is opening up a lot of options.
To had a simple security rather than just "anyone with the link", could you add an option to password protect the links? I know it's not as secure as a guest login and I can go that route but it's a simple way to control who accesses the data without the extra hassle.
Thanks!

100% agreed. There needs to be a mechanism to protect internal forms, dashboards, etc rather than having to just post them on the open internet.

This is a basic feature on all other platforms (ex: Monday), I don't know why it's not already present in ClickUp...

Agreed with the above!

So true, this is definitely a useful feature! I noticed the SmartSuite app heddles this pretty well. ClickUp should follow their lead.

Folks interested in theis feature request might also be interested to know that all attachments are public-facing. We just discovered this (e.g. when they are an attachment to an email to a support@ address that becomes a ClickUp Task, or when you email out from within a Task and someone replies and includes an attachment). Because it is really relevant to how our team hopes to use threaded emails, I wanted to share it with the folks on this Feature Request. See https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/dont-make-attachments-available-externally-via-url-unless-specifically-set for more info, in case you also find it relevant.

ClickUp admins, is this going to be an option in the future, we need to know because its causing us problems with our clients and we'll need to move on soon otherwise.
