Local backup and syncing
José Luis
No list's are show on start if there is no internet connection. Should be desirable a local backup of the tasks, even if the changes are not saved until connection gets back, but preferably managing some syncing with the app.
PD: What a great work are you doing! The Time-List-Board feature it is a "have to" for any respectable task manager, and the first time I see it in a free app.

I strongly agree that having the possibility of a local backup of lists and documents (or entire workspaces) would be an huge plus to the usability of Clickup in various situations.
First of all I would like to have a local (static) backup for closed or critical projects (just in case)...
Second step, it would be nice if these backups could be marked to be automatically synced with the online version.

Hey ClickUp, it would be great if you could characterise and sort out suggestions with high voting rate. That would communicate the message that the important subjects are understood by you.
In case you missed the signal, Full BackUp is a request with very high reoccurences. Here are just a few instances :

Automatic Daily Backup

We need a automatic daily backup in case something does wrong with Click up!!!

Although having offline access to ClickUp would be a neat feature, that is less of a concern for me as my internet is up 99% of the time and with a mobile hotspot it can be up 99.9999% of the time.
I am more concerned about making sure our precious tasks and lists are backed up periodically in case a bad actor gets access to our ClickUp workspace and deletes tasks or lists, removes users, changes permissions, or changes other workspace settings.
Having a way to restore the workspace before all changes say a few hours or a day ago would save a world of pain.
I can export the workspace manually or maybe setup an API bot but I'd like something more integrated.

I also would like the option to backup my data anywhere I want. One of the main reason I use Obsidian and Logseq a lot is because my data is local, until I choose to back it up in a cloud of my choice. I would like to be fully invested in Clickup for all of my needs; however, any sensitive data must go through a robust security protocol and I cannot use Clickup for that type of data.

Clickup, what will you do if there is some type of major disaster that throws large numbers of people, or everyone, offline for an extended period of time?
You're gambling that there won't be. Are you sure you want to take that chance?
Your customers will be furious, they won't be able to access their data, and their workflows will be chaos. Do you want to explain to everyone then why a local backup and fully functional offline mode was not made a priority?
Just something to consider.

It would be great to be able to have backups… Just in case.

FULL BACKUP
iT WOULD BE GREAT AND CRUCIAL TO HAVE THE ABILITY TO PROCESS A FULL BACKUP OF THE CKICKUP DATA BASE including TASKS, SPACES, DOCS, DASHBOARDS, etc. Thank you

Absolutely critical option, and can't come too soon, esp. with the performance issues that happen quite a bit as of late.
Even without those issues though, this is essential. To be able to work locally, add tasks, do everything and have it sync later (or a preference to just work solely offline all the time) would solve a lot of problems. And would make me feel so much more comfortable as a user that it's not just going to all disappear one day.

I'm new to ClickUp, but I find it strange if they have not already implemented this functionality. I was really considering ClickUp, but now I'm not sure. Everything always have to have a backup function.

christian: Hi Christian, our team understands this need and is working on a dedicated backup app for ClickUp. We recently published the first version of it and more updates will follow very soon. More info here: https://probackup.io/backup/clickup
