Google Calendar V2 Ideas
in progress

Cassiano Campes
I just started using the new integration with Google Calendar.
However, I have noticed that when we set a deadline in a task in ClickUp, the Google calendar shows the deadline in a little bit weird form. The task starts from midnight ending on the deadline of that day.
Would be better if it was 1 hour instead of starting from midnight.
I am attaching the screenshot of what I am talking about, and with the suggestion that could be better for visualizing the deadlines on Google Calendar.
I hope you can understand what I mean.

Hey community - how's your day going?
Ricardo here, I lead the calendar team at ClickUp.
Wanted to let you folks know that we're just about ready to start slowly onboarding some new folks into the new calendar beta. Exciting times!
We've setup a waitlist form, so please join here.
We're prioritising folks and opening new slots each week.
It's early days and this is very much a beta - but from all I can read from your comments below - I have no doubt that with your help we'll make it the best calendar experience out there.

Would love to have a keyboard shortcut to open the calendar without having to move the mouse all the wya to the top bar

Ricardo Clerigo Please consider the following ideas:
* Rearrange the priorities in the calendar
* Create tasks from the calendar directly or from the focus UI when we "Add ClickUp Task"
Thank you so much for all your hardwork ClickUp Team 🙏

Hello Ricardo Clerigo
A very important issue: tasks with the status "Closed" should not continue to appear on Google Calendar. What makes sense is to see on the calendar only tasks with status "not closed". This is how other tools that also sync with Google Calendar work and it makes no sense that ClickUp sync continues to show tasks/events on Google Calendar after they are closed.
Basically, what we should see in Google Calendar is exactly the same tasks/events that we also see in a Calendar View inside ClickUp.
For me, this is the most important update.
Greetings.

Ricardo Clerigo The calendar is really awesome, thanks a lot! Can we have an ability to sort the priorities? Manual sorting would be good enough. Thank you!

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned already, but it would be nice to have an option to add before & after buffers for events (inside the event window) instead of manually scheduling the buffers. Especially for outside events/meetings, call prep, breaks after long meetings, etc.

It would great if I could select the specific Calendars that will be synced when Google Calendar integration is set, as opposed to syncing all calendars under that Google Account. It would also be great to have a share option, so I can share the Google calendars of my choosing with others in my Workspace.

Will there be an option when you turn on the sync - not activating every space separately, but to have only one buttion like "Sync all tasks I'm assigned to"?

Ricardo Clerigo curious if the ability to change the video conferencing from the default Google Meet to something like Zoom (if the Zoom app is connected to both G-Cal & ClickUp) is intended to not be working at this moment, or if it's a bug? could you share some feedback on whether this is intended at this stage of the product or not?

Alex Rizea: super soon

Ricardo Clerigo There is an issue with the calendar UI, events get crushed down real small for no reason.
