Use case:
For client projects, I like to set up my the project/list completely before the client has any opportunity to see the project. Ideally this would include tagging them in comments, assigning things to them, etc.
As it is now, I have to:
  1. I set MOSTLY everything up...
  2. I try to remember where I need to mention, assign, whatever...
  3. I invite them to the project, but tell them not to go into the system yet because it's not ready for them... (often, they ignore this because they're curious or excited or bad at following directions)
  4. I quickly go back in, mention, assign, etc...
  5. I email them back and tell them "Okay, you can look now"
But in my dream world, this is how it would work instead...
  1. I add the person to the project (without inviting them)
  2. I mention, assign, etc.
  3. I invite them to the project. Donezo.
I could see this being problematic in that when they get invited, they'd get a slew of notifications. So not sure how that would work. But you guys are real smart - I'm sure there's a solution. :)
