Hey, everyone!
We've noticed some people wondering where screensharing or video calls are, since its on our website, so I wanted to share an update.
Audio and video calls, including screen sharing, is currently available to a small group of Workspaces who have access to Chat. We're actively stress testing and improving the user experience before rolling out to more folks.
We hope to have it rolled out to everyone who is on Business Plus or Enterprise very shortly!
Thanks for your understanding and patience!

Hey, everyone!
We're excited to share that SyncUps are now available in Production to those of you who have access to Chat and are on Business Plus or Enterprise Plans!
If you're on Free Forever, Unlimited, or Business, do not fret! We will soon allow limite usage of SyncUps in the future!
You'll now see audio and video calls, with screen sharing, built right into ClickUp Chat. While in a SyncUp, you can also navigate around ClickUp and still talk to your team 🎉
Improve communication, save time, and align on your projects in ClickUp without switching apps!

Brendan W what are these limits as I am on business plan? So need to understand the limits that business plan users wud have going fwd. I was hoping that atleast the business plan users wud not have any limits, as business plan users pay 12 usd / 19 usd ( monthly plan) Now at less than half that amount slack includes most features, rather than putting limits.
Brendan W
Pranav Bhatia: Hey, there! Limits/usage is still being figured out, but when we have more information when Chat launches to everyone we'll share it out!
Pranav Bhatia
Brendan W thanks for letting me know. Also I hope business plan people wud get limits which allow them to use chat effectively. It wud be a shame to pay for business plus just to use chat effectively. As business plus wud be a lot expensive as compared to the price at which slack offers most features. Anyways, let’s wait and see.
Brendan W
Pranav Bhatia: Business will not be limited much and will be able to use Chat effectively, I can confirm that for you! lower-tierAll paid plans will have access to SyncUps, but our
lower tier plans may have limits due to the high infrastructure costs of video streaming.

Brendan W thanks for letting me know. Eagerly waiting for chat!

This new feature feels out of ClickUp's wheel house so to speak regarding expertise i.e. the best performance for video/audio calls will come from companies that specialise in this as the primary business.
I'm still looking for a way to integrate Google Meet & Zoom calls in a relatively seamless way within the ClickUp interface and hope that might be something to still be supported.
The reason for this is due to the services that clients use, and also the additional features/plugins around video calls like transcriptions/summaries.

Duncan Owen: Thanks for the feedback!
We can do much more with a built-in video/audio call system in ClickUp than with an integration with Google Meet or Zoom and this is really just the beginning of offering this in app.
That said, we currently support starting Zoom calls by typing /zoom, and we plan to make this process even more seamless in the future.

Brendan W There you go marking another item complete when it's not even rolled out.
Brendan W
Tiffany Patton: Hey, there. We'll have SyncUps available soon to lower plans!

Basically the "Huddle" feature from Slack, right? This is what I was looking for. This is the only reason the rest of the team won't move over to ClickUp Chat from Slack, because they use "Huddle" so much in Slack.
Once this is launched, we will likely immediately deactivate Slack and move the entire team into ClickUp entirely.

Brendan W. Will paid plans that are not Business be getting the feature? Also, I signed up a friend on a new free account and he has Chat…and I’ve been a paid customer for years and on the waiting list and don’t have it yet…any rhyme or reason?
Brendan W
Darren Litchfield: All paid plans will have access to SyncUps once its rolled out, although some lower tier plans may have limits due to the high infrastructure costs of video streaming. We'll keep you posted as more pricing information becomes available!
Regarding your friend, new Workspaces can get access to Chat as we're testing the new user adoption and experience. Existing Workspaces are slowly being rolled out to further to ensure we have a stable infrastructure to ensure reliability is top notch. Additionally, some Workspaces with lots of data or existing Chat view usage must have migrations performed. Hopefully that context helps!

I noticed voice call functionality mentioned on Clickup Chat marketing page, so I signed up as a new user. However, I don’t see the option in the app. I have access to chat feature, but would upgrading to the Business Plus plan allow me to use voice calls immediately?

Why is this on the roadmap and not in production? I saw this on the clickup chat marketing page, and was one of the reasons to upgrade our plan - so we can ditch teams and move everything onto clickup. Is there an ETA for when this will be released?

Another related idea is integrating with third-party virtual business phone services like OpenPhone and DialPad. Many of these options offer much better SMS, phone, and video features compared to what Microsoft and Google provide for business communications. This could also help address various issues in a differ en t way. I believe both solutions could coexist perfectly https://youtubevanceds.org/.
