The ability to defined specific notification settings per channel and channel sections.
This includes defining if I get notified only for direct mentions, general channel mentions or all new messages. This also allows to set notification for specific keywords that get mentioned in messages. I want to be able to define in which channel the notification arrives (eg. Inbox, Email, SMS, and mobile push).

You can now customize the notification settings of individual Chats!
Visit any Chat and click as illustrated in the photo below. From here, you'll notice your global Chat notification settings are the default, but you can customize for this individual Chat.
If you want to ever revert back to following you global settings for a specific Chat, you'll see that option too!

It would be great to have notification settings for chat, turn on/off auto notify all messages, or choose just mentioned message. My team and I have missed lots of 'reply in thread' messages over and over again.

Be able to have channel-specific notifications, similar to slack. For each channel I choose from the following options:
- All new posts
- Just mentions
- Nothing

We are very pleased with the chat feature as it is and would like to see it further developed. Currently, ClickUp does not support pop-up notifications like WhatsApp on mobile. Could you prioritize enabling this?
The most obvious problem is that notifications are not coming through on the mobile app for everyone. Even though all notifications are enabled, sometimes we don't get an audio alert when we're online on the PC (there's a setting for that, and we've enabled it) or when it's in the drop-down menu. Also, when using another app on mobile and a message comes in from ClickUp chat, it would be great if a short pop-up like WhatsApp appeared at the top. We've observed these issues more on Android. It would also be helpful if we could separate notifications from chat and notifications from tasks.

The ability to mute, and change notification settings at a channel level (or alternately at a section level). Similar to how Google Chat does it would be good.

Hey Philipp!
Following up with some requests on advanced notification settings here:
- It would be great to be able to customize what sends a notification in general in the workspace, and then also customize per channel more granularly. For example, I always want a notification if I get a DM, and then push notifications for every post in some channels but only get a push notif for @mentions in other channels. See screenshot from Slack settings here.
- Can we set hours for notifications allowed or paused on a schedule, with the ability for a user to override this if needed when sending an urgent DM? I set up a notification pause schedule currently for Slack since we're a global company, and some people may send me DMs at 2am my time - don't want my phone buzzing with each of these but want the notification available to go check in the morning. Sample of the Slack setting for this included below.
- Right now I see that replies to threads I've created or am following go to the "Threads" menu, but don't show a "new notification" icon in the left sidebar. Can we add this configuration option, so users working in other parts of the workspace have the choice to see that there's a new threaded reply even if there isn't an @mention? Screenshot below as well.
