Found a solution with integromat make by doing a plain HTTP call, i used it to integrate AIRTABLE so once a new item is created there a new folder project is created on clickup from a template happy to share hello@dbs.agency

This needs to get sorted, cant see how it is a hard API endpoint to implement when Zapier is already offering such functionality

This is a super important feature to work with complex processes. I guess it is baked into Zapier, but doesn't exist as an endpoint. Zapier seems to not be remapping the dates, which renders the due dates/timelines almost useless. Any input when this could be changed?

Hey, this is quite annoying indeed. Note that I've been able to work around by doing it via Zapier and then triggering Zapier via a webhook.
(In our case we're using make.com primarily where it's just an HTTP call to zapier.)
An alternative would be to try to reverse engineer what zapier does, which is probably possible based on the API patterns but too much work for me right now.

Why on earth is this left out??
Patrice Gallion
I'm wondering why this has been left out, when it's possible to apply task templates via API.

Please add this feature, we really need it to achieve CI/CD when we add new customers to our support team..

How has this gone on for 3 years? I hate this stuff with ClickUp. I feels like it's a toy because no one is actually thinking these features through. Anything that can be done with a mouse and keyboard should be possible via API. This is holding ClickUp back from being a real enterprise tool.

Hi as the endpoint already exists (clearly visible on Zapier) it is really just a matter of describing it in the documentation, is there any ETA or updates here? Thank you
Danny Shor
Míra Šmíra: It actually exists! please add to the documentation!
Míra Šmíra
Danny Shor: Apparently it doesn't transfer dependencies though it is not that useful :(
