Chat is a very useful tool to inform about a new task status.
What I miss is an automation when status of a task for example = done -> send in chat.
Also it would be nice if I could do this over API to send status updates from outside directly into a chat.

I love using Sunsama (https://sunsama.com/share?refId=6737984bceea2b00012595f3) to plan my day and share daily standups. Currently, Sunsama allows daily standups to be posted to Slack, Teams, or via email. I would like to request the addition of an email integration to support sending these posts directly to a ClickUp Chat Channel. (ClickUp already supports using specific email addresses to add items to lists and tasks)
Thank you for considering this enhancement! It would greatly streamline workflows.

I see that there is a new endpoint for "Create Chat View Comment". This helps, but it only supports simple text format. This limits the capacity for us to fully migrate out of Slack. We need to add hyperlinks and nicely formatted messages.
What if it supported markdown?

I was looking for third-party tools for this, but it would be easier to have this functionality right away

Is there an estimated time? Since live chat has been launched, it would be really great to add API features. It could even replace Slack completely.

Would be amazing if we can get the following in the API:
Actions:
- post message
- create channel would also be very nice
Triggers:
- message is posted
- (specific) reaction is added
This would go a long way in replicating the most important parts that are used in Slack related integrations
