I stopped using Google Calendar and schedule everything in ClickUp while using web weekly view. I need to have this view on mobile, even if it has to be scrunched like in Google Calendar.

Hello everyone,
In addition to this calendar feature on your phone, I think it would be very interesting if ClickUp's calendar allowed everyone to view their calendar, but with restrictions on accessing cards.
For example, I still use Google calendar synchronization to allow everyone to access my calendar and check free times for scheduling meetings.
However, there are activities that are not visible to everyone, such as activities in lists that are not available to members or guests. Therefore, within ClickUp, these people cannot see these activities and mistakenly think that I have that free time.
The correct thing would be to allow some type of configuration that shows everyone that a certain time is occupied by some activity, but does not detail which activity it is for those who do not have access to the list.
This way, I think it would be possible to fully use ClickUp without needing Google's calendar.

m exploring a feature enhancements for ClickUp's calendar views where tasks are visually represented based on their logged time blocks, rather than a continuous bar spanning the start and due dates. Each task or subtask would function as it's own calendar, allowing time to be logged progressively. I'm also interested in enabling color customization; for example, tasks could be assigned to specific email https://freefirnicknames.com/

Agree on the weekly view option!
I'm pasting here some additional thoughts on Calendar Functionality, as I made a feature request as well, but yours has a lot more traction!

Each task or subtask would function as it's own calendar, allowing time to be logged progressively. I'm also interested in enabling color customization; for example, tasks could be assigned to specific email account calendars, with each block's color reflecting these calendar labels. In addition, displaying the task type's icon in the calendar block's corner, colored by the task's status.
This approach integrates calendar functionality offering enhanced usability! Looking forward to this visibility!
If a separate feature request should remain- it is found under "Calendar Enthusiasts' Dream"

Hi there, thanks for this post!
Do you want a weekly view on your Home page? You can already see weekly in regular Calendar view.
Marat
Joey: Oh, that's fine. Didn't notice it before.
Robert Haas
Joey: The weekly calendar is fine for me like this, but until ClickUp also works in landscape mode, it's actually unusable because you can't see the event names.
Or modify the display in portrait mode similar to the Google Calendar mobile app, where event names are visible.

Joey: I can’t find this view? If I click See All in Clickup Home on iOS, I just see a list but no options to configure the view.

Joey: Thanks, is this new? I don't think I saw that option before. One further suggestion is that we can choose what days we want, e.g. if I want to see Wed to Monday on one screen (rather than Wed to Sun as part of last week, and Monday as part of next week)
Isadora Araujo
Joey: I Can't find this view too. Print from PC app.
Samuel Schneider
Robert Haas: Joey The Google Calendar's interface is notably more efficient in its use of header space compared to the CU app. This design approach, focusing more on the visibility of tasks and minimizing header space, is highly appreciated and enhances the overall user experience.
Brayden Ankerstein
Joey:Yes, I would love to have the ability to view the weekly calendar on my home page. One issue I am finding with the weekly calendar as well is that it takes a long time for my events to show up in the calendar. Makes it a bit frustrating to use.
Joey
Robert Haas: That's fair. I will revisit the Landscape mode task that we have!
Joey
Elmer Laan: We don't have it on the Mobile Home, but we have it if you go to a Calendar view on a List.
For having this on Home, we would have to add it. We are looking into a possible solution now but will update this task as we prioritize this!
Joey
Faraz Khaliq: Good idea! I think this would be great on the web app too, we have a post for it here - https://clickup.canny.io/feature-requests/p/change-weekweekend-days
Joey
Isadora Araujo: This feature request post is for the mobile app, not the web app.
Joey
Samuel Schneider: Yeah for sure, we haven't looked at this design in a while and it could use a lot of work to get closer to GCal and other competitors we have with good Calendars.
Samuel Schneider
Brayden Ankerstein: THIS 100%. It’s faster so sync with google and show Google the events. Calendar view is sooooooo slow and buggy

Joey: This will be a great addition!

Joey: Ops, my bad!

Joey i would like this in the home view on mobile basically the same as the desktop or web Version. Solved I created a favourite which calls up what I want and removed the ClickUp Version of the calendar in Home. It means one more clickup but gives me what I want and is not double syncing some things. I never could understand that.
