Timeline View in Mobile App
Omer Chen
Timeline view is the best way for us to see our roadmap chronologically, and right now there’s no mobile support for that view.
(For some of our partners is crucial because they are using iPad and iPhone only so they haven’t easy access to the roadmap right now and it makes it much less valuable)

The Timeline view is the default operational view used by our Service Department to organize resources and schedule all new service requests and commissioning installations. It provides a time-based, resource-oriented visualization of all open and planned activities across the department.
Technically, the Timeline enables:
Real-time allocation of service engineers based on skill set, product certification, and regional responsibility
Capacity planning with visibility of engineer workload, availability, and time-off periods
Conflict detection for overlapping assignments, travel windows, and site access constraints
Coordination of multi-day interventions and commissioning activities
Tracking of SLA-driven response times and prioritization of critical service cases
Integration with work orders, task dependencies, and customer-specific deadlines
The system dynamically updates when tasks are created, modified, or reassigned, allowing immediate visibility of resource utilization and preventing overbooking. It also supports drag-and-drop rescheduling, which is essential when urgent service calls require rapid reallocation of personnel.
Without the Timeline view available in the ClickUp app, resource allocation becomes manual and fragmented. Engineers cannot clearly see time-based assignments, which increases the risk of double-booking, inefficient routing, delayed interventions, and reduced operational transparency. In a high-volume service environment with parallel installations, reactive service calls, and commissioning activities, this lack of centralized scheduling visibility directly impacts efficiency and response performance.
For a busy service department, access to the Timeline view is not simply a convenience — it is a critical operational planning tool required for effective resource management and service delivery.

This would be hugely useful, and I'm feeling the lack if it right now

Please add timeline view to the mobile app (for IOS, and for my fellow Android users). This is a huge plus that other competitor mobile apps offer for free.

I don't want to pretend to understand the difficulty of creating a mobile app. However, a project management product should be able to reproduce the same view no matter the device used. Especially when the product isn't free and is being paid for IMO. Also, alot of the workforce today work remotely relying on a mobile device daily. ClickUp is lacking that ability to manage projects remotely and is an inferior product until this is fixed.
For context, we have 28 users who cannot manage their work in ClickUp in an effective way while remote because of the limitations of the app.

Definitely need this, preferably Gantt View. Quire has Gantt, TickTick, Timeline, Notion - Gantt. One can take the view that all planning should be done on a Desktop, but the ability to have this on Mobile is powerful. I see someone has said Monday has done this nicely, so will take a look. I have been avoiding Monday, in the hope that CU gets it added.
