Set and customize mobile notifications (on mobile)

Would be great to toggle off/on specific types notifications on (android) mobile app! Can only change these in settings on desktop app. Also customize things like sound on/off, vibrate on/off, time to send notification (for all-day tasks) and set a specific sound for clickup notifications.

Update Android Chat Notifications to use MessagingStyle (Like WhatsApp)
N
Nissim Museri
Please update the Android app's push notifications for the Chat/Team Chat views to use NotificationCompat.MessagingStyle (Android Conversations API).
Currently, every single chat message and emoji reaction triggers a separate notification card in the notification shade, which creates massive clutter.
It would drastically improve the user experience if messages from the same chat were grouped and appended into a single, continuous conversational thread, exactly how WhatsApp, Telegram, or Slack handle Android notifications.

More lines on notifications

On mobile inbox, show more lines on notifications, it’s better to view without clicks.
You can increase a button with density to view.

Add the ability to adjust your notification settings in the mobile app, so you don't have to login to the WebApp to do so!

Notifications settings from the App
Melvin
Hey ClickUp Team,
I love the platform, but one thing is seriously frustrating: I can’t manage full notification settings—like turning off “Task Created” alerts—from the mobile app.
As someone managing a team in the field, I rely on the mobile app 90% of the time. The fact that I need to log into the desktop version just to silence a notification is… kind of wild for a tool that’s supposed to make teams more efficient. Also, I’m dealing with people who aren’t so tech-savvy so they won’t log into the desktop version to turn of task creation alerts.
Please consider adding full notification control to the mobile app, especially:
• Task creation alerts
• Status changes
• Assignment changes
• Push notification toggles per project or list
It’s a small fix that would make a massive difference for people who are trying to manage their work in the real world, not just at a desk.
Thanks,
Melvin (a ClickUp user who’d like his phone to chill out)

Edit Email Notification Settings from Mobile
Emma Thompson
Hello! We've got a team using clickup from a fully mobile standpoint. Everyone is getting bombarded with email notifications from activity within the app - is it possible to add a feature to adjust which notifications are accompanied by an email push within the mobile app settings?
Danielle Libonati
Definitely need to be able to set hours of notifications. Also being able to control what type of notifications show on mobile,

Allow full notification control via app. Why have a first party app if account settings cannot be changed or adjusted
Joey
This would be helpful, thanks for bringing it up

Thanks for this! Would love to understand how this would enhance your mobile experience.

Hello Joey, the visualization of the notifications will be better, without having to open the tasks, since it will be possible to see more notification lines.
