Separate mobile app just for powerful tablets like iPad Pro
Nick Page
Have you met the iPad Pro? For many users it’s more powerful than their computers. So could we please have a more capable iPad app? One that at least aims to match all the features of the ClickUp Web and Desktop apps. It feels like such a waste to have an app that seems so throttled in ability.

Absolutely! Many users feel that the current iPad app underutilizes the iPad Pro’s capabilities, and a separate, fully-featured app could truly match the functionality of ClickUp’s Web and Desktop versions, making task management smoother and more efficient on powerful tablets. Leveraging the full potential of devices like the iPad Pro would allow professionals to handle complex workflows, manage projects seamlessly, and even integrate advanced tools, much like how specialized services such as cost estimating services https://backusestimating.com/cost-estimating-services/ optimize precision and efficiency in construction projects.

Absolutely! Many iPad Pro users find the device more powerful than their laptops, so having a dedicated, fully-featured ClickUp app for iPad would make perfect sense. Right now, the mobile app feels limited compared to the Web and Desktop versions, restricting productivity and creative workflows that the iPad Pro could easily handle. A robust, tablet-optimized app could leverage the Pro’s performance, multitasking, and larger display to deliver a seamless experience that matches or even exceeds the desktop version. Until then, it’s like owning a luxury tool but not using its full potential—similar to missing out on the full experience of something special, like discovering the Starbucks Vampire Frappuccino in the UK (https://starbucks-menu.co.uk/starbucks-vampire-frappuccino/) and only being able to sip a tiny sample instead of enjoying the full treat.

Absolutely! Many users feel the same way—devices like the iPad Pro have more than enough power to handle a full-featured productivity app, yet the current mobile version often feels limited compared to the web or desktop experience. A separate, fully capable iPad app that matches all the features of ClickUp Web and Desktop would unlock the device’s true potential, allowing users to manage tasks, projects, and workflows without compromise. For example, similar to how Sportzfy’s https://app-sportzfy.com/ dedicated app leverages tablet capabilities to deliver a rich, seamless experience, a powerful iPad-specific ClickUp app could fully utilize the hardware, offering intuitive gestures, advanced multitasking, and complete feature parity.

If a seperate mobile application for tablets cannot be made right now, please optimize the web app to be used with touch screens for tablets.
I don't about other touch based devices but my Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ faces lots of issues on webapp as it registers lots of unintended touch actions while scrolling or tapping.

I end up using ClickUp.com from Chrome browser on my iPad so I can use all the Table Views I have created. The iPad app could use an upgrade.

I suspect that like me, many consultants use an iPad Pro with a keyboard as a complete portable office, functioning as both laptop and tablet. This means that the Clickup iPad app feels very limited - lack of views, display options, etc. I expect this will need to happen gradually, but is it possible to work towards an iPad app that is effectively a replica of the web and desktop / laptop versions?

iPad OS is amazing and I wholeheartedly agree with this suggestion.
