Amazing work! thanks!
Joey
Hi all! I wanted to share an update as this has been In Progress for a bit.
The mobile team has been hard at work moving huge pieces of our app to our new Instant Load Framework. This framework, which all of our new 3.0 features is built on, is fast and powerful whether you have internet or not.
Because mobile 3.0 was mainly focused on a new Task view, new Inbox, and new Home, those areas are the ones getting this read-only offline capability first.
We aren't stopping here though, and we aren't just stopping with read-only. Our plan is that whenever we modify an area like the sidebar, Docs, task creation, views, etc. it will be moved over to the Instant Load Framework so that you can consume and eventually modify data offline.
This also greatly improves the online speed of these areas, as we are first checking the cache, and then loading from the internet. Goodbye loading screens! 💙
This will take time, and it doesn't mean that the whole app will move to offline overnight. We are prioritizing moving areas to offline based on their usage statistics and based on if the area of the app is particularly in need of a tune-up.
If you have any questions, let me know here. We are adding thousands of users every week to Mobile 3.0 which already has the read-only V1 of this instant load framework so go check it out when you gain access! If you have ClickUp 3.0 on web, all you have to do is download the mobile app to try out Mobile 3.0.
Thank you everyone! 🍁

Joey: I've been on the wait list for 3.0 for sometime. When exactly is it coming for the majority of users?

Joey: I have been on waitlist for months - when are we able to get 3.0 please? Thx

Joey: Hello Joey.
Thanks for the update.
I am on ClickUp V3.0 for the Desktop and Mobile App. Things are looking fantastic so far. An Offline Mode for both the Desktop and Mobile App would be an absolute game changer!!!
I cannot wait until this is all rolled out. Read only is a start but probably not overly useful. I would love to see the full and editable versions as soon as possible.
I know you said that it all can't happen at once (totally understandable) but also said that it will be rolled out in a priority process based on usage. While that's also understandable, I think you might find that some features would be more heavily used and/or more popular if the Offline Mode existed in the first place.
I have a small team that I want to bring back into ClickUp (we were using it for many years but then stopped), but, because we work in field and regularly find ourselves in questionable signal locations, I am hesitant to bring them back in until an Offline Mode is a solid reality. This was one of the main reasons they stopped using it and no matter how much a insisted they do so, the whole thing fell apart because the Offline Mode didn't exist and we had consconst issues and/or lost work. So my hesitation is based around avoiding a repeat of the past issue/s.
Anyway, hopefully all of this will become a reality very soon so I can get on with doing my work and not have to worry about finding/using a software solution for my business.
Thanks for all of the hard work so far. The new Desktop and Mobile App UIs are stunning and much more functional than the previous versions.

Can't wait for this feature to become a reality. I REALLY need some form of offline functionality. This would (in my opinion) be the BIGGEST game changer for the ClickUp Mobile App.
I have held off using something like Todoist for this very reason. I need to be able to create tasks (and notes) offline and then get them automatically synched once back into a signal area.
The same applies to existing Tasks. Be able to edit/amend Tasks and then have them synch when back in a signal area.
I realise that this is complicated. One could alter a Task offline, while someone else is also altering the Task (and they might be online). Still, others have managed to provide this feature so it must be possible (albeit very complicated).
Any timeline on this feature release?

I would like to send my team out into the field to capture actions directly on clickup mobile during security inspections in the operations areas. For this I created a form, however we have many areas without internet signal and this tool becomes useless, forcing us to go back to paper. We need to use forms in offline mode to be synchronized later when there is internet access.

We are a construction company and most of the places we are working there is no signal. When we upload the hours or make some changes in the tasks we end up missing all that information. For us is critical to get a better offline support on the mobile app.

Can I cast a vote for every time i'm on an airplane? (that's almost every week) I can hardly wait for this feature as I have so much captive time with no guarantee of internet.

Robust support for offline mode for mobile devices (android) is the single reason I am not using CU today.

This function will allow me to only use Clickup, instead of Clickup+ others to get work do as it should be. Thank you
