I use ClickUp 99% of the time on my smartphone when I'm at clients' sites to take notes. The problem is that most of the time I don't have any network coverage, and the app simply doesn't work — even though you say there's an offline mode, it's only partially functional. Honestly, it's hard to believe that in 2025 a professional teamwork app doesn't offer a fully working offline mode. If I had known this feature wasn't properly supported, I would never have purchased it.

In a mobile world and a mobile work environment, to simply be able to work offline, just as if we weren't would be fantastic. Evidently I don't expect to be able to send messages while offline, but everything else should work, then sync when you're back online.

For a thread started in 500 AC, maybe you could be more serious, more specific than "more offline functionality" "over the next couple of months". If the app was "awesome", we'd already have offline capability.

We are investing more time into fixing issues where offline may not be working properly. This includes sending messages in poor network conditions and the message sending when your network improves, or not loading from our cache when we should.

In terms of adding more offline functionality, we are planning some improvements over the next couple of months. I will update here when I have more specifics, but I appreciate everyone's feedback in surveys and comments here on your needs and what you expect out of an awesome mobile app!

We need offline capabliity on desktop, even more important. We need the ability to download, back up workspace and work within it. I don't use the mobile because most of my work is done on desktop. We need to be able to open the workspace, create a task, add subtasks, move things around, change views, save all and sync when back online. And to download the workspace to desktop.

Maybe on the Mac app, which won't even open when the wifi is off and is unusable once it is opened and the wifi goes off.

Why isn't Clickup prioritizing this essential feature? People travel to places where internet is not available and cannot access their stuff. It looks like they haven't worked on the non-mobile backup since 2019 and I don't understand why they wouldn't. And also why they would leave themselves open as a company for a major disaster where suddenly no one can get online and all their customers are left without the ability to access their workspace, contacts etc.

any update on this feature because offline functionality don't exist on you're clickup app when it will done it's been long time just like you're sub folder feature you haven't able to deliver it

Any update on this? This would be a major improvement of the overall ClickUp experience, and this request is coming up to five years old now.

The automatic downloading/caching is no longer working on my app in offline mode. Does this mean we're getting traction on rolling out the same features of the desktop/app onto mobile?
