Multiple reminders for tasks

I’d love to have the option to have more than one (say, 3-5??) reminders for tasks. One is simply not enough.

Also - I believe there is already a pretty-much-identical request tagged as in-progress Joey & Luci N.

This one for mobile and desktop / macOS would be amazing. On Apps like TickTick it was so easy. So in 2023, this feature is a must!
Setting up 1 task with several pre-reminders... LET'S GO - PLEASE!

Hi! Can you please tell me a bit more about the problems that you are facing here?

Joey: It would be very helpful to be able to be able to set various reminders for a specific tasks. It is very difficult to have to set a due date as a reminder so that I can have specific reminders before the due date. I end up having to change the due date of my tasks, frequently, and it is very time consuming. I also end up having many "overdue" tasks that are not due yet, but that I needed to be reminded of at specific intervals.

Joey: As my comment states below, I believe a very beneficial feature for ClickUp is the ability to quickly and easily add reminders directly to tasks. This is separate from the "automated" reminders which are automatically sent the day before the due date of a task. Because sometimes tasks have decisions to be made or different steps that need to be completed before the actual due date. And it's nice to be able to set reminders to be sent.
One example is yearly bills. I'll schedule the bill to be paid on the due date, in a year, when it's due. But it would be nice to be able to schedule a few reminders of that upcoming bill. For example, one month from the due date (because I need to set up my budget for the month to allow for it). And then maybe two weeks before to remind me in case I need to move some money or do some type of banking to arrange for it. And then 3 days before to make sure I pay it on time. This is just one example.
There are many applications of this. But the problem is setting up reminders of a task in ClickUp is extremely clunky. As Veronica pointed out, I also don't like seeing "overdue" tasks when it wasn't actually due. It would be nice to have some kind of reminder to be focused on moving the task ahead.
The only way I found to "manually" set my own reminder was to write a comment on the task. And then set a reminder on the comment. But the reminder doesn't actually attach directly to the task. It's attached to the comment. So then I see the comment that I made on a task, where I wrote something like "comment." I wrote something one word "comment" because I didn't have any comments about the task. I only needed to have some kind of reminder of the task. The problem is I don't actually see what task the "comment" is tied to or what it's supposed to be reminding me of.
The other way was to connect ClickUp to Google Calendar. After the task I created in ClickUp is synced to Google Calendar, then I could go to Google Calendar and use their reminder notification function to set up multiple reminders.
Both of these ways work....but are extremely time consuming and cumbersome.
Other time management and project management apps, for example, allow you to easily add multiple reminders directly to the event or task you are scheduling. At whatever intervals you want. Then when the reminder is sent, you see what task or event you are being reminded of.
Just some thoughts.

Can you guys please stop trying to overthink everything Joey?

Definitely agree. It seems very clunky to create a new task twice (once when you create the task and then write a comment) just so you can get reminders attached to tasks. Or the automated task reminders. What if someone wants to set multiple reminders attached to the same task? This would be a very beneficial feature not only on mobile but also one the web. When you create a task, next to the date, have a place to be able to add notifications or reminders that are task specific. I attached screenshots of how Google Calendar has the ability to add multiple notifications to an event. And Todoist also has the ability.

a reminder, e.g. one week before, one day before, one hour before, is correct. It is necessary to enter it. These functions are in other reminder and task apps
