Mobile 3.0 - The mobile application is not perfectly synchronized with the web application
in progress
Amara Amzal
The task statuses in the mobile application are not always properly synchronized with the statuses they have in the web or desktop application. This occurs even when refreshing the mobile application's homepage. Exiting the application entirely and relaunching it does not even resolve the issue. This is not sustainable.

Information added or updated on the desktop version, not always syncs correctly on the mobile version. I notice this specially on custom field type "Labels" (I change labels on some records and they not always update on mobile. The solution is to clean the cache on the mobile app, but this is not a good way of working).

Chat messages that are already read - still appear in the mobile app. Even if I've "smart notifications" enabled - it still is sending them instantly and showing on mobile. What needs to happen: read messages should be removed from the mobile app, like other apps (like chats) do.

Fields such as dropdown fields are often not synchronized on mobile, they appear empty when they are all assigned or selected on the desktop
Guy Mannerings
"Recents" are never correct, and the search Recents is also different to the tab Recents.
Either way, neither list the correct items and are often also 2 says behind sync.

Joey, i have seen great improvements in this since you had first started on this. How far are you along this process? Is this completed or still in progress?
Guy Mannerings
Vincent D'Amico no, because custom fields are in the wrong order, filters on list view don't work properly, calendar items have incorrect start and due dates.

Same here.
But what's even more annoying is the fact, that changes on mobile are not reflected in the mobile app and pull-to-refresh does not work either. We have to switch to another list and navigate back for the changes to take effect.
In detail:
1) Open a list
2) Open a task
3) Change Task name, custom fields, assignee...
4) Go back one level to the list
5) The changes just made are NOT reflected here
6) pull-down-to-refesh
7) new tasks are added and deleted tasks are removed now. But still the changes to the task name, assignee, custom fields etc. are NOT reflected in the list
8) Switch to another list, switch back to the old list
9) NOW the changes done earlier CAN be seen

Felix Schmidt This is STILL an issue even with the newest ClickUp Mobile updates almost a year later. Is this stil being worked on Joey?

We are adding a lot of refinements to how we refresh data right now!
Samuel Schneider
Joey: thanks for working on this
Michael
Joey, it's been 15 months since your response here, and the mobile app is still quite ineffective at synching data, and that is no exaggeration. Any hope of this ever changing?
Tommy
Super super delayed here too. Maybe after like 30 min it will sync
