I think you should really focus on mobile friendly design and making it possibile to use app with one hand. To add new task on the run i have to make way too many clicks. 1 Choose between task and reminder
2 click to Choose project
3 click on spece for dropdown menu (i have only one space-just show all the folders ,besides that how speces on the top make it user friendly? Everything should be as clise to the bottom of the screen as possibile
4 choose project so i get back to task
This should be last stage of adding task after i Choose a project it should be added automaticly
5 assign
6 Choose date - show not only calendar icon but also today tomorrow icon- if i add something on mobile it it probably urgent
7 ad task - adding task should be made as i Choose folder
Way to many clicks.

what about breadcrumbs in each space and folder? What about open to a folder in a space, or a space all together?
Joey
Mike Shick:
- "what about breadcrumbs in each space and folder?"
Do you mean in List view?
- "What about open to a folder in a space, or a space all together?"
You can do this by going into the sidebar, tapping on a Space and tapping the button on the right to open the Space or Folder as a whole.

Joey: Well, list view for consistency, but obviously less necessary, but still useful. What I mean is breadcrumbs for spaces and folders, since I have 40 similar named tasks for different projects.
Regarding open to space or list, i mean, on opening the app. I don't want to see everything, but only one space upon open...with the breadcrumbs.

Hey community! With ClickUp Mobile 3.0 (available now to everyone), we made huge improvements to lower the amount of taps needed to get to work you need. 🚀
We first wanted to focus on the actions you had to take as soon as you opened the mobile app. We know that mobile sessions average only 3-5 minutes, so every second counts.
We have shipped a brand new Mobile Home page with customizable Cards built for you, and by you. These Cards enable any use case to get to what matters immediately, whether that is tasks due today, recent items you just had open on web, your favorites, your tray, and more! This makes the app more efficient for your needs the moment you open it. All items in Home are cached for offline use too so they are shown and load instantly.
If you don't like the new Home, and are constantly switching to your inbox or a List, you can now go right to that at launch with our Default Launch page customizable in Settings.
Task view has also been reorganized to get you to your work with fewer actions. This is something we are still working on but stats tell us that users are now able to spend less time in Task view, while accomplishing more.
We also are making strides moving our entire app to use more general patterns for swiping, long-pressing, and more. This lowers the amount of guessing that you have to do in the app and allows you to focus on your work and what truly matters, faster than ever.
This is something we will continue to iterate toward but this feels like a good time to close out this post. We have a lot of things planned such as improving on our sidebar experience, improving on 3.0 items even more based on your feedback, and bringing the best Search experience on Earth to ClickUp mobile. I see a lot of comments here for other features or ways to get to specific features like Notepad faster. If you don't think this has been resolved for you, feel free to create a new post or vote on an existing one!

Joey: Thanks for this overhaul, my mobile experience has improved with these updates!
I got inspired over the challenge noted above about accessing the notepad. Not sure how cluttered it may get but I feel that adding action buttons above the "New Task" button could help. I’d like to be able to access slash commands like on desktop. Not only does typing a slash not toggle a menu, but manually typing out the entire shortcut (e.g. /bold) doesn’t work either! I use Docs a lot and quite a bit of Clickup’s formatting options don’t exist on mobile. One odd problem that keeps happening is that whenever I import text from outside, say a Google Doc, with my iPhone on Dark mode, the pasted text appears black or almost black in Clickup (also in Dark mode). Clickup is obviously honoring the format settings from the original source but the pasted text isn’t readable and due to lack of reformatting options on mobile can’t be easily changed to BECOME readable. This should be a tiny pain point but it’s becoming quite frustrating since as a small business owner I do a lot on the go, juggle lots of apps (the team is me), and can’t always have my laptop out to access features like this.

Philip Andersen:
It would completely improve my experience and keep me using the app to have an optional app setting to pick a default project & list for all new tasks

Agreed, also auto-rotate screws up the spaces view, start alternating between landscape and portrait

On mobile I can't even see the Space location of a task...It only tells me the name of the List, but not Space.
Joey
Jennifer Li: Hi! We are fixing this right now! https://clickup.canny.io/new-mobile-app/p/show-full-breadcrumbs-in-mobile-task-view-space-folder-list
