Hey, everyone! Checking in a few months after publishing our new Mobile Home 3.0. 🏡
We are working on a new prototype that tackles some problems that we have heard so far, and would love your thoughts!
Can you please take a moment and fill out this survey here?

Joey: Looks amazing! Forgot to mention in my survey response: Seems to be missing Tray & Lineup widgets — unless it's included in the boxes up top next to Personal List just off the page? I find viewing Tray/Lineup widgets useful.

Joey: This new version seems LESS customisable (and, thus, less useful), which was a key feature of home screen widgets on v3.
I have filled in the form, but have had more thoughts:-
1. I would find the current proposed layout to be
MUCH
less productive, as it doesn't put things I care about on the first view of the home screen, front-and-centre, where I see things quickly, which was the case with v2 and current v3.To me, "My Work" should be the first thing shown. It is surely the most important thing on the Home screen to most people. Or the Calendar view.
Why do Spaces, Docs, and Dashboards get
ANY
prominence, when they can be accessed on the sidebar with 1 extra click, as per desktop? These widgets are
nowhere near
as important as "Today", "My Work", "Calendar", etc. Yet they are the first things you see and take up the most visual space. The mobile version should mimic the desktop version as much as possible. These are not cards on desktop and, thus, don't need to be on mobile. They can be accessed from the sidebar.
2. Also, there appears to be no reason why some things are on the first home screen, some are buttons at the top, and some are buttons at the bottom. As above, some weird widgets are given prominence over more important widgets.
3. There would also be no need for a "My Work" button taking up useful space on the bottom row if My Work was the first thing you saw on the Home Screen. - You could just use the Home Button. This would give us back the search button, instead of it taking up real estate on small phone screens in the proposed position.
4. Also, where are Notepad, Reminders, etc, going to be?
5. Horizontal scrolling is back with the top items :-( . This is slow and inaccurate. It cannot be navigated quickly like vertical scrolling can.
Sorry to be harsh! I just find the design overall pretty but not useful.
So, for me, even though it looks nice and has some nice features, it would be a step back from v2.

Yeah, what happened to the ability to sort tasks in home? They all show up in the wrong order now. I'm also still seeing closed tasks in the Today tab, which makes things more visually cluttered.
Please also show start dates, not just due dates.

Sort home view by space, folder, list, etc

Instead of just having the tasks in the home view sorted and grouped by today, overdue, and upcoming, can you all us to also subgroup it by space, folder, list, and other categories? And then be able to save that version fo the home view as a favorite view that we can easily access? And can you enable that for the android mobile app in particular too?

Joey: Thanks for picking this up. Saw you integrated my older request and took the survey. Vouching for customizable (multiple) list views in home page. Cheers, PJA
Guy Mannerings
PJA: Yes, that would be good. As long as they look integrated and not like the widgets in mobile dashboards.

+1 for Folder Breadcrumbs to be exposed in Mobile. We organize projects at the folder level. Each folder has generic lists for each "phase" of the project. When viewing tasks from various places on Mobile everything is exposed EXCEPT the folder. So I may have 12 tasks that all have the same name and lists even though they are all different projects. This has been such a problem it has prevented our entire field-service team from using CU. They are just waiting in the wings for this to be added.
