Hi— currently when the Threaded comments click app is Off, the capability to reply is still enabled. So you can hit reply… type your reply… and it looks like it saves… then a little red box appears for a moment

That warning doesn’t say it didn’t save/post. It just says something like “threading must be enabled”

Then the reply is deleted. So if you still want to comment on the task, you have to re-write and post in the normal comment area

So I’m wondering can you please disable the “reply” feature when threading is off (grey out or disappear)

OR when threading is disabled, maybe say “Reply threads are disabled. Post as a comment? Y/N” and copy the person’s text automatically into the regular comment feed for the task.

Whatever works to avoid having to re-type would be helpful.

and while we wait— consider making the red warning box say something more like “your reply was not posted: threaded comments are disabled”
