Quick Capture in 1–3 Seconds

1)Seamless Access Across Apps

The quick capture feature should open effortlessly, regardless of the app or window currently in use on my mobile. For instance, if I’m in Microsoft Teams and suddenly get an idea, I should be able to tap a task shortcut without disrupting my current workflow. This would allow me to quickly jot down my thought, hit "Done," and return to Microsoft Teams without losing focus or context.

Reference: Notion’s "New Page" feature, which opens instantly when you hard-press the app icon and select "New Page." I’d like a similar implementation—simple but even more intuitive. see below attachment to get an idea.

2)Ready for Input

When the quick capture window opens, the keyboard and cursor should immediately focus on the title field.

Why? This ensures I can focus entirely on capturing my thought without any distractions or additional steps.

3)Dedicated Camera and Attachment Options

The quick capture window should include a clear, separate option for taking photos and adding attachments. The camera icon should be prominently displayed for situations where I need to snap a picture quickly. The attachment option can be separate and accessible only when needed.

Why? Sometimes I need to take a photo instantly without dealing with attachment workflows.

4)Speed and Reliability

The feature should open and save tasks almost instantly, whether I’m online or offline.

Why? A fast and reliable quick capture tool is a critical, yet currently missing, feature in ClickUp.
