【Feature Request Summary】
In the ClickUp mobile app, please allow checklist items to be checked/unchecked even after posting.
This issue currently occurs within checklists posted in Chat and Task activity sections.
【Current Problems】
  • Checklist items can only be marked during edit mode; after posting, their states become locked.
  • When a checkbox is checked during editing, the checkbox disappears, making status confirmation difficult.
  • Once posted in Chat or Task activity, checklists can no longer be updated according to actual progress.
【Example】
Task: “Prepare for Weekly Meeting”
Checklist:
  • Create agenda
  • Prepare materials
  • Send invitations
Once this checklist is posted in the Chat or Task activity, users often want to check off items as progress is made.
But the current implementation does not support modifying the checklist after it’s been posted.
【Proposal】
  • Enable editing of checklist states (checked/unchecked) even after posting in the mobile app’s Chat or Task activity.
  • Ensure that checkboxes remain visible regardless of their checked status, so the current state is always clear.
