Hi,
I tried to look for the button to create a Zoom Link to start a meeting in my Android App, but I can't see it anywhere when I open the task.
On the web interface and Desktop program i can see it.
Have I missed something ?

Zeb Thanks for creating this integration.
A request: most of the people in the department like to use zoom for chatting about work instead of using ClickUp. Chat channels are used for discussing anything related to a project. The ability to switch between channels easily is very appealing.
I'm ClickUp, to discuss about a specific task, the user has to find the card. To have a chat at the list/folder level, to the user has to find the chat view. Unfortunately this extra effort puts many in the department off using ClickUp for chat, and as a result cards don't get updated.
I understand that you guys are working on improving the chat system which will address the above.
Suggestion: would it be possible to connect a ClickUp list/folder chat view with a zoom channel such that they both show the same content irrespective of which platform was used to create the content?
Zeb
Muazam Rafique: Hmm that's a great idea, just made a note to talk about this with the product team!

Would love to see zoom in 'Views' as a column in list, icon on board, etc. Thanks for all you do!
Samantha Fowler
I am confused. The App details shows 'Schedule a meeting" as an selection in the dropdown when clicking on the Zoom camera in CU, but I do not see that in mine; it just immediately 'starts' a meeting. I usually never start impromptu meetings; I schedule them. Am I missing a setting?
Nick
Hey Samantha Fowler! That is a mistake on our part and we will be updating that picture accordingly 🙂 The initial version does not include the ability to schedule meetings from within ClickUp, but we are planning on adding this feature in the future!
Samantha Fowler
Nick: Ok, no problem. We will have to wait to implement this after the scheduling is added. Would like to schedule and add multiple tasks/lists/folders, use final meeting time as logged time, and only count time once--not for each task :).
Lee Fuhr
Samantha Fowler: Me too. All those things. :)

Great that Zoom is being integrated to tasks, but I would like ClickUp to make it possible for lists/folders and spaces too, and to create a standing, ongoing Zoom meeting for each space, and each list/folder within.
Is it part of your plan?
Lee Fuhr
Yasss. Questions!
The recording… is that only for if we recording in Zoom to their cloud? Their cloud recording is super expensive so we mostly use local recordings, since we already have plentiful cloud storage with Google.
Can we use this to somehow schedule Zoom meetings with clients? And/or import/include our existing weekly Zoom calls into ClickUp? Or… some such magic?
Nick
Hey Lee Fuhr! Automatically posting the link to your Zoom recording only happens if you use Zoom's cloud recording feature, but you can always upload the meeting to ClickUp or paste in a Google Drive link to keep things in one spot 🙂
As for scheduling Zoom meetings from within ClickUp tasks - that is something we are planning to add in the future so stay tuned!

Nick: dude, this would be
amazing
. I saw that roll out last night and realized I'm immediately hung up on deploying it because I can't schedule a static meeting with a client in the future have the meeting ID to give them in advance. Thanks for this integration!Albert Shushyan

Ivan Villa: let it be our little secret :)
It's unusual to see mid-week updates. Could you please share what else has been changed?
Ivan Villa
Tomasz Banas: hey Tomasz! It was just the zoom feature, we have our usual release still scheduled for Friday :)
Tomasz Banas
Ivan Villa: Question:
Wording from the "When a meeting ends, Zoom will post a link to the meeting recording if available.Note: Meeting recordings are only supported for paid accounts."
Is the recording saved by ClickUp so it can be deleted from Zoom Cloud?
Nick
Tomasz Banas: These are just links to Zoom's cloud recordings so all meeting recordings will still be stored on Zoom's servers. Hope that answers your question!
Tomasz Banas
Nick: Got it, yes, thanks. I find that many Zoom clients delete recordings from the Zoom Cloud because of the Zoom's high pricing for their Cloud - https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/203741855-Cloud-Recording?_ga=2.158753977.2020850174.1586967927-1255160356.1554393682
DropBox just added an integration where they are copying the recordings and store them for you.

Ivan Villa: Awsesome.

It's live!
Nick
Tomasz Banas: Try out the /zoom command from the comments to start a meeting too!
