Not to discourage anyone... but due to the integration structure of Whatsapp this will likely never happen.
1) (Automated) systems can only send "Template" messages which need to be pre-approved (anti spam measure). Sending other (freeform) messages to people is not possible. Also the amount of template messages is limited.
2) Privacy and security standards are pretty high for all the approval stuff. As Clickup themselves can never predict what data customers will embed in their messages (Even if through a template), a central connection to the Whatsapp network will never be approved with the current guidelines. From CU's standpoint, they will never be able to check and prevent sending data that is not allowed over the Whatsapp network. It will result in a block sooner or later.
3) You need a business account to make this happen, that means you can only have a single number connected. The nature of Whatsapp is to have one single chat per number, having multiple "conversations" about several tasks in a single chat will become very messy. Especially if they originate from different users in CU.
The only thing you can do, is go through the whole approval procedure, connect your number through a service such as Messagebird and create a flow that will trigger a webhook. This way you can get data in to Clickup (create tasks, comments, etc.). This might be useful for creating support tickets, getting feedback, etc.

Hello!
It would be nice if your application could send to the inbox a selected messenger message.
It will help us to fast save tasks from our chats with colleagues, friends and partners.
This is an easy way to not forget our promises and tasks.

Adding my Name to the pile of Yeses. Having the capability to create tasks from What's app messages/ embed it directly in clickup would be amazing.
