Send Personalized Notifications to Slack
Paul
Please set it up so each slack user (me) can get only their own notifications for the tasks relevant to them in a slack channel. It's a headache to have to sift through everyone else's notifications to figure out what is mine and what isn't. Just copy what Asana does here pretty please. They had it figured out perfectly.

Found this via the other slack comment request. and originally from Reddit. Currently I am copying and pasting the clickup comment into slack and vice versa. Tiring!

If ClickUp would even just allow @mentions going to the slack user, that would be fanastic, and a big step towards user adoption, in effect allowing Click-up to have more realtime notifications that aren't going to missed, lost in email, etc.

+1 to this. Asana (and others) really did this perfectly. I can't imagine why ClickUp would think that everyone wants their notifications going into a public slack channel...
The clunky workaround right now would be for everyone on my team to set up their own clickup-notifications-name channel in Slack, and then set up a clickup notification to send to that channel. That's absurdly overcomplicated when the Bot model is already there, and has been implemented perfectly with other systems.

Hey, this feature is really needed. The notifications and email doesn't really work for us as we communicate on slack. If a task is assigned to us or a comment @'s you, we should be able to direct these to direct messages via slack

It looks like Asana, GitHub, and many other tools create Slack bots to deliver user-specific notifications directly. Having the same functionality for ClickUp would significantly raise my awareness of task updates, feedback, and questions.
Being able to respond to feedback and questions without leaving Slack would be even more useful!

I want more sophisticated notification settings like the email notifications settings (see screenshot) and send the notification to the ClickUp app/bot in Slack.
HubSpot gives you the same settings for slack you can set for email, app, browser etc.
Now each member has to setup it's own private channel when you don't want to be to spammy in slack.
I only want notifications for @mentions to me, task requests to me like the settings you have for email too.

I agree with the Asana implementation being ideal. Additionally, we need a way to see updates from all of our "watched" tasks. Right now the only options are everything in a space, folder, or list or what's assigned to you. However, I have a ton of task where I'm the "project lead" (custom field) but am not "assigned." I have no way of seeing those tasks in Slack, despite "watching" them. To be clear, I'm not looking for a custom field filter for Slack—just a "watching tasks" filter.

Yeah this is supposed to be available but isn't working. I can only see DM groups not just my own personal @me channel in the slack notifications section.
