We can currently start a Zoom meeting from a chat based on a slash command, but it would be great to be able to schedule one or, at the very least, rename one. Currently, it just starts with a default name, which is not great for our records.

Dear Tadej, Thank you for your hard work. I've just tested the new function but notice that we only can copy link/ID meeting or access straight to the meeting. We don't have the option to copy the invitation - which is very important to me cos I don't really want to manually type the invitation before sending invitation to attendees. Can you please add that as well?

Just to make sure, you would like to have an option to "copy the invitation" from the Zoom App panel in the task view?
How do you usually send the invitation to attendees? Email, Calendar event, ClickUp Chat, something else?

Tadej Jevševar yes that's right, I need that option as the invitation that Zoom creates after scheduling a meeting will contain all details, topic, time date and how to connect.
Usually we will have to open Zoom, schedule a meeting, copy invitation and then copy to Outlook, very manually and wasting time. That's why I would like to have kind of "embed" Zoom into Clickup.
The current schedule Zoom feature in CLickup is still quite limited, only a few very basic features like Topic, time, date, don't have other options like attendees or time zone, etc. After scheduling a meeting in Clickup, I don't have full invitation, just a link or a meeting ID, which, to be honest, that won't really help cos we need to open zoom again, go to that meeting and copy the full invitation. Maybe for the instant internal meeting a link will do but quite informal

With ClickUp Zoom integration launched in October 2024, you can now also schedule a Zoom meeting right from ClickUp.

Hello everyone, with ClickUp Zoom integration launched in October 2024, you can now also schedule a Zoom meeting right from ClickUp.
There are two ways you can do it:
- From the Search bar
- Open Search bar (cmd + K or ctrl + K)
- Type "Schedule New Zoom meeting" and hit return (enter)
- Fill out details of the meeting and that's it.
- From any ClickUp Task
- Open a task
- Click Zoom app panel in the side bar
- Click "Add Zoom link"
- Click "New Zoom meeting"
- That's it - Note: ClickUp will auto populate name of the meeting based on the task's name for you.

It would be great if you could add an option to add attendee e-mails, which would then e-mail them the Zoom link and time details from our e-mail address we have set up (or we choose which e-mail).
Also, there is a bug/UI issue - the date selector does not start the day of the week based on our Workspace setting. I.e., my Workspace is set to start each week on a Monday, but the Zoom selector starts it on a Sunday, which can get confusing.

Guy Mannerings, thanks for your feedback. The idea to schedule a new Zoom meeting from ClickUp task is that you want for task watchers to join the meeting, therefore we didn't add the "attendees" field here. The idea is that you want to have a Zoom meeting about the task where you are scheduling a new meeting from. That's also the reason why we auto-populate the meeting title based on the task's title.
Thank you for reporting the bug - I created a task for our team to look into this and fix it.

It would be nice if, upon setup of the Zoom integration, we could select a default zoom meeting room.
For example, I use the same recurring meeting for all client calls with the link and password provided to clients upon scheduling through Calendly. However, in ClickUp, there's only the option to start a random meeting.
It'd be more convenient to be able to start a meeting of our choice without having to leave ClickUp.

Curently it defualts to a meeting to create. I would like the option of choosing one of my recurring meetings to zoom from click up. thanks

Now with the addition of Zoom integrated with tasks, wouldn't it be cool to automatically store the Zoom meeting collateral in a designated area AND embed that associated link as a comment in that task?
