Outlook Add-In - do not attach inline images from email as task attachments
V
Vilius Degutis
When creating a task from an email or adding email to a task from the Outlook Add-In, often inline images from that email - like logos from signatures or screen shots from email body - are added as individual attachments to the ClickUp task. This creates unnecessary clutter. Those same images are available in the HTML view of the email message which is added as an attachment too.
It would be great, if inline images were not added as separate attachments or at least there was a global setting to opt out of this behaviour.

I support this request.
When creating ClickUp tasks from Outlook emails, inline images such as signature logos, icons, and embedded screenshots are often added as separate attachments, creating unnecessary clutter. Since these images are already contained within the attached email content (HTML), adding them again provides little value.
A simple solution would be to exclude inline images by default or provide a global setting that allows users to choose whether inline email images should be attached. This would keep tasks cleaner and make it easier to focus on relevant attachments.
