Manual time tracking now takes three clicks.
Thomas Machielse
Hi,
We primarily use manual time tracking. It used to be quite simple and fast to add manual time, but now it takes three clicks: Click the time tracked area > click the (tiny) "or log time" link/button > click in the "Type anything..." text box.
Would it be possible to add back the manual time logging button in the "time tracked" area? And, that when you click that button, the text box to enter the time has focus so you can start typing immediately?
I know this seems like a trivial thing but, as I said, we only use manual time tracking due to the way we use ClickUp and the current implementation is less efficient than the previous one.
Thank you and kind regards,
Thomas

This is something we are aware of and are working on a fix for right now! 🙂

Adding /Slash command support for adding time would also be very handy
Something like:
/time add 15m
or /time add 14:30-15:30
also /time add 15m "description"

This is a major headache for us, as we mostly do manual time entry, often back-dated (so, click, click, click, click, click, click...). I would like to see context-sensitive shortcut keys (ex., m to switch to manual entry, which would put your cursor in a "type time and/or date" box). Either that or just have everything in one dialog ("start button" to start timer, and date/time entry box for manual entry). It would be super nice to be able to tab between fields/elements/buttons (you know, like they had back in the early 1990s!).
