HubSpot integration 2.0
Tadej Jevševar
We're excited to announce that we're planning the next major update to our HubSpot integration, and we want your input to shape HubSpot Integration 2.0!
How can you help?
Tell us what improvements, new features, or changes would make the HubSpot integration more valuable for you and your team. Whether it's pain points with the current integration, missing automations, data sync needs, or entirely new workflows—your feedback will directly influence our roadmap.
To guide your feedback, consider sharing:
- Specific tasks or workflows you wish were easier or automated between ClickUp and HubSpot
- Data or object types you want to sync (e.g., deals, contacts, tasks, custom fields)
- Triggers or actions you’d like to see (e.g., when X happens in HubSpot, do Y in ClickUp)
- Limitations or frustrations with the current integration
- Any third-party tools or workarounds you currently use to bridge gaps
- Examples of how a perfect integration would help your team save time or avoid errors
The more detail you provide, the better we can understand your needs and prioritize the most impactful improvements.
Thank you for helping us build a smarter, more seamless HubSpot integration!

+1 on bi-directional Ticket syncing between HubSpot and ClickUp.
Some of our customers have trouble uploading files to our HubSpot Forms so we're utilising ClickUp Forms for support tickets.
Unfortunately, the current integration only allows the ClickUp Task Name field to be mapped to the Ticket Name in HubSpot. The current workaround is to pass key details to the Ticket Name in HubSpot, then manually update several ticket fields after the automation runs on ClickUp. Big risk for human error here.
We want to be able to map name, email address, category and ticket description from ClickUp to a HubSpot ticket. Even better if we could map any kind of custom field in ClickUp to a HubSpot property of our choice.
Bi-directional is key for us because our engineering team lives in ClickUp, but customer support is in HubSpot.

Please make a 2-way data sync for deals and tasks

Add a notes from notetaker to related objects (deals, contacts, companies, tickets) in HubSpot. Based on attendees email, based on meeting link in calendar event.

2 way sync! Similar to the Zendesk and ADO syncs. I shouldn't need to update a deal in hubspot to trigger the data coming over. I should be able to monitor that in clickup and then trigger automations on that side.

2 way task syncing between both systems is a must. Sync

HubSpot Ticket Creation from ClickUp Task

When automating the creation of a Ticket from a ClickUp Task or Sub-Task, you can currently only map a pre-set list of fields from ClickUp to the Ticket Name. This is not necessarily helpful, as then you are forced to put any field containing information you need directly in the Ticket Name (including things like Task Description, Task ID, Creator Name, etc). For our purposes, we would simply like access to the Ticket Description field to at least be a space we can include some of that longer form text information (like Task Description), without completely cluttering the Ticket Name field with information that clutters the UI of our Ticket Pipeline. I have attached an example image of the exact automation that we are running, and my only ask is to have the Ticket Description field available right below the Ticket Name with the options to map ClickUp information into that field :)

I would like to have a "create task" option added when in Hubspot there's a deal status update

Turn on bi-directional sync for HubSpot tickets

The HubSpot integration isn't finished. It's a great start - but it doesn't allow us to connect HubSpot Service hub to Clickup for ticket updates. It needs to be able to support bi-directional commenting, custom field updates, etc. It's not straight forward at all to get this working. Please fix!

Sync task status change from HubSpot to ClickUp

The ClickUp integration with HubSpot is not bidirectional. When updating the status of a task in HubSpot, I cannot reflect the status in ClickUp. The configuration screen in ClickUp allows identifying when a status change is made, but it does not specify which change was made, rendering the automation pointless.
