Hey ClickUP Dev team. This is one of the most requested features, either two way syncing or even a simple contacts list that we can use for custom fields to assign a sales agent for example, which could populate their addresses etc in other custom fields for automations and task tracking. So we don't have to copy and paste for every task. Can you please just give us an update whether this is going to happen (silence is not golden, in this case). If you don't give us an update to a pretty standard feature address book (not asking for a full CRM) then we will start having to look elsewhere as its costing us time and therefore money.

Iam frustrated with the current contact import system in the Email ClickApp. Every other productivity platform I’ve used allows for basic, reliable contact management—yet ClickUp’s method of importing 100 random contacts is not only limiting, but also makes it nearly impossible to work efficiently with my actual clients and contacts.
It’s baffling that such a fundamental feature—selecting, prioritising, or syncing my real, most-used contacts from Google or Outlook—still isn’t available. This is a basic expectation for any tool that claims to offer integrated email. Why is this taking so long to implement, when it’s standard everywhere else?
Please prioritise a real solution for contact management:
Let users choose which contacts to import or sync.
Allow syncing with Google Contacts or Outlook Contacts directly.
Provide a way to view, edit, and manage imported contacts in ClickUp.
This is a core workflow for anyone using ClickUp for client work, and it’s holding the platform back.

I am surprised that there has been no recent response to this request. CU cannot be all things to all people, but Google Contacts is a fairly basic ask. With the recent introduction of Brain and agents, these connections become more important. If there is a technical barrier, or it is low on the priority list for some reason, CU could simply let us know where this is in the grand scheme of things. That would help.

Since you have two way sync with Google Calendar, it would be amazing if as a user, I could 2-way sync with my Google contacts as well, and save me some manual entry steps.

If Clickup does not plan to make this sync. then they can have integration with contalist (independent power-up / add-on) which we used to use with Trello.

One of the most requested and essential features and nothing from developers that I can see. Come on Clickup... this isn't a "feature", it's an absolute "MUST HAVE".

It would be very helpful to be able to use click up also as pipeline mgt tool in sales or BD

Why hasn't this been addressed yet? Should be a basic feature. It's preventing me for staying in the app and I find myself just living in my email instead of using clickup

Zoho CRM have this feature. They also have an amazing chrome extension. Open any email and see all the related contacts with that email address and also all the deals, opportunities related to that contact

Alex Stoica: Yes, you can see every info from Zoho CRM, directly in Gmail. All the deals associated with the email address etc.

Wow, this was opened 5 years ago. Would love to see something in the works after the 3.0 release.
