This would be huge to be able to respond via slack WITHIN click up!!

Asana also has a great integration with Slack that lets you respond directly - this would be a massive win for us in centralizing comms especially as an agency with clients who prefer to use Slack. In this way, we can maintain an organized, structured process for communication without needing them to change their process. Win win! Please prioritize!

Please can ClickUp copy Linear's Slack integration implementation... Where Slack and Linear sync flawlessly, and can sync comments in threads.

When using another platform, we have used automations and their API to sync each KANBAN style board with Slack so that we only ping Slack when someone is mentioned and it goes to the associated project channel. This has been BY FAR the best way to keep Slack at the center of all of our tools and get 100% buy in and usage of the KANBAN tool.

I would love to see something similar happen for MS Teams. While I personally vastly prefer Slack, our org is pretty heavily invested in all things Microsoft. A chat sync where we could link a chat view with a specific Teams channel would be huge in allowing us to better connect with our clients who AREN'T in ClickUp, but who ARE in Teams

Slack is the perfect communication app that has freed our staff from email communications. We use Slack Connect with our providers/partners and select customers effectively. However, when we are delivering for new customers, who don't have or use slack, we like the ClickUp Chat functionality. However, a synchronisation between ClickUp Chat and a defined Slack channel (e.g. each clickup chat should be able to sync to a specific slack channel) means that our staff do not miss messages from the client. We are completely fine if that means there is reduced text functionality in the clickup chat (or whatever is sync to slack is stripped out).

The reality is that Slack is the perfect chat tool; like how Clickup is the perfect task tool. So i think this integration is important to appeal to your current and future customers.

On a separate thought, our client said that it would amazing if you could make Clickup chat to centralise source of truth (for record keeping purposes); and then allow syncing with more than 1 external chat system. Eg, they use MS Team Chat, and we use Slack. If you could have synchronisation across multiple channels that would be an amazing selling points for Clickup... and allows the centralisation of all project, tasks and comms into a single place. Food for thought...
