If integrated (similar to how google drive is integrated), we could attach a design to a task and chat with team members right in Clickup about changes, etc and clients who are on clickup as guests can comment and approve too.

Hey everyone, I was going through some notes here and on Cava, and I want to make sure the description matches what everyone is looking for. The original post suggests treating Canva like Google Drive, but that would limit it to attachments. Is that what folks want?
Alternatively, we have integrations like Figma that automatically show up on tasks and provide rich previews.
We want to clearly understand the main problems people aim to solve with this integration. This will help us better assess the Canva integration platform and see what’s possible.
so if you have any examples, please do share :)
Thanks again!

An exciting update that may boost your creative workflows: Canva now works with ClickUp Brain and Super Agents!
If you connect Canva from App Center → Design → Canva MCP, ClickUp AI can interact with your Canva workspace directly.
Capabilities include:
• Design generation: create from prompts, brand templates, or existing designs; search and browse your Canva workspace
• Canvas editing: start editing sessions, add/remove/update elements, resize, commit or discard changes
• Brand & assets: browse brand kits, upload assets, manage folders, search templates
• Collaboration: add comments, reply to threads
Since you interact with Canva MCP through Brain or a Super Agent rather than a visual embed on tasks, it's a little different than the original request on this thread, but I wanted to highlight that it's super powerful and available to you now.
Let us know how we can further improve your design experience in ClickUp 💜

Arkady Sokolov is there any plan to do this with Adobe Express?

Hey Arkady, thanks for sharing this! I've already connected Canva MCP and set up my brand kit with some test template banners on the Canva side. The connection itself works fine, but I'm struggling to get usable creative outputs through ClickUp Brain. The results so far haven't been production-ready for our design team's needs.
One suggestion that I think would massively help: a short tutorial clip (5-7 min) or step-by-step documentation showing real workflows, like how to go from a prompt to a polished brand-consistent banner using the MCP connection. Right now the "what it can do" is clear, but the "how to actually get quality results" is where I'm stuck.
Given how many incredible updates you're shipping (seriously impressive pace), pairing them with quick how-to content would help users like me bridge the gap between "connected" and "actually productive." Would love to see this for the Canva MCP integration specifically.

Could be great if it was possible to create tasks and then connect social media content from Canva as attached to the task, and finally scheduled post to Canva through Click Up.

Would love if there was a Canva Doc integration just like Google docs, where I could create a new document directly from a task

As a decision maker, it would actually be easier to have the possibility to visualize a product design by my Marketing/Com team, directly from the CLICKUP interface, since a task would be great. Thanks in advance

I personally don’t want to add attachments but browse projects and designs from Canva, and with extension the new Affinity and be able to add links to these projects and designs, not direct attachments

Ivan Villa I am with you and would highly prefer a Figma-like integration. As we mostly use Canva as a Figma replacement (multiple reasons), this would be perfect.

Ivan Villa For me, the main use I would like is to be able to upload/add attachments directly from Canva to ClickUp for storage. I am not sure what Figma is but if it adds a preview of the image that also could be helpful.

Ivan Villa If the Canva integration could be two-way that would be great. Sometimes I just dive in to Canva and it would be great to link the doc I'm working on to a task from the menu within ClickUp. I'd love to be able to add URLs from Canva (public views as well as the editing ones). Or if we'd be able to preview the Canva images in ClickUp that would be helpful as well.

Please allow us to upload designs from Canva straight into Clickup for storage until we need them. It would be super helpful for content creators who create pins, social media images etc in Canva but need a way to bulk create and then schedule as needed. Thank you!

Lori Murphy we do this already bye saving the file from Canva in PDF and uploading individual tasks. We do this on the scale of eight mock ups a day.
